  • Patent number: 8671555
Abstract: Firstly, a flat conductor raw wire is formed in a rectangular cross-section and bent in a continuous meandering pattern in a same plane to include in-slot wire portions arranged in each slot of the stator core, coil-end wire portions arranged as a coil end outside the slots, and bent portions joining the in-slot wire portions and the coil-end wire portions. Thereafter, in a setting step, the bent portions located at the opposite ends of the in-slot wire portion are grasped by a pair of grasping tools and the in-slot wire portion is grasped by a twisting jig. Next, in a processing step, the bent portions are twisted and bent into crank-shape by displacing a predetermined axis to a predetermined direction while rotating the twisting jig about the axis. The flat conductor is obtained by performing the setting step and the processing step each of the in-slot wire portions.

  • Patent number: 8302286
Abstract: A stator winding is manufactured by a forming step, a winding step, and a expanding step. In the forming step, an S-shaped offset shape is formed on a conductor part corresponding to a coil end part. Thereby, in a coil end part, it is possible to provide an expected shape stably at the coil end part. The conductor is wound around a bobbin in the winding step. In the winding step, a twisted shape is given to the conductor parts to be the inclined part of the coil end and the conductor part to be accommodated in a slot. In the expanding step, a preform product removed from the bobbin is expanded into a shape of the stator winding.

  • Patent number: 8196286
Abstract: A coil-holding assembly for an electrical machine has coil holders made of plastic and on which coils of a stator can be wound. The coil holders are formed and pivotal on an outer edge of a planar central plastic support by integral film hinges between a winding position parallel to a plane of the support and a bent-up position perpendicular to the plane. Thus the coils can be wound on the holders in the parallel position thereof and the holders are then moved into the bent-up position for use in the electric machine.

  • Patent number: 8056215
Abstract: A first tool set holds a wire covered with an insulation film at a bending point of the wire to protrude the wire from the first tool set. A second tool set holds the protruded portion of the wire. The second tool set is rotated about the first tool set to bend the wire along a wall of the first tool set and to form a boundary corner in the wire at the same radius of curvature as the wall. The wire is released from the second tool set and is moved to place the first tool set at another bending point while protruding from the first tool set. The second tool set is placed at the protruded portion of the wire. When the wire is bent at a predetermined number of bending points and is rounded, a stator coil formed in a corrugated shape is manufactured.

  • Patent number: 7891082
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a coil assembly unit comprises steps of coil forming, weaving, compressing steps. In the forming step, each coil wire is formed which provides linear portions and turn portions each connecting linear portions, during which bent portions are formed at both ends of each linear portion, the bent portions being bent so that mutually adjacent linear portions are deviated from each other. In the weaving step, the coil wires are mutually woven in turn, in which the turn portions intersect in turn. All the coil wires are subjected to the weaving step in turn to produce a woven coil assembly. In the compressing step, the woven coil assembly is compressed by compressing the woven coil so that each bent portion is deformed to be linear to allow the mutually adjacent linear portions to come closer to each other, thus producing the coil assembly unit.

  • Patent number: 7083134
Abstract: The invention relates to a yarn feeding device (F) for weaving or knitting machines whose winding element (W) is driven by an electric motor (M) controlled by an electronic speed control device (CU). According to the invention, the electric motor (M) is a synchronous motor, in particular, a permanent magnet (PM) motor with the speed control device (CU) provided for effecting a permanent vector control with the stator being sinusoidally acted upon. • Patent number: 6726139
Abstract: A method and apparatus for feeding a thread to a textile machine in a twist-free manner, which thread has a band-like character. The thread is taken twist-free from a stock and is stored on a stationary storage drum in a thread feeding apparatus. The thread feeding apparatus has a rotatable central shaft and a winding element which protrudes therefrom. During operation of the thread feeding apparatus, functional twists are produced in the thread only during the transition from the central shaft into the winding element. The twists are inhibited from being transported oppositely to the thread path direction and are regularly conveyed to the storage drum in almost perfect match with the rotations of the central shaft. At least one guide gap that is stationary in relation to the central shaft is provided along the thread path in the area of transition of the central shaft into the winding element.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for inserting weft yarn material, comprising an insertion system in a loom. According to the invention, for every insertion the insertion system (A) is supplied with a substantial part of the weft yarn required for the insertion in a loose and substantially tension-free manner so as to be intermittently pulled off. A tubular package of adjacent windings is produced from the weft yarn material on an inner mechanical support (S) by way of an at least substantially continuous winding process and is conveyed forward in withdrawal direction. For an insertion, a number of windings that corresponds at least approximately to the weft yarn section intended to be inserted is detached or set free from the support while maintaining its tubular configuration without yarn tension. The weft yarn material is withdrawn directly inwardly from the frontmost winding and then further along the tube axis (X).
