Abstract: A ground thawing hose cleaning reel guide assembly cleans a ground thawing hose as the hose is reeled back onto a reel within a vehicle. The assembly includes a hose guide coupled to a frame such that the hose guide is movable between opposite ends of the frame. The hose guide has an interior edge defining an aperture extending through the hose guide. A sheet is coupled to the hose guide extending over the aperture. A channel extends into the sheet. The channel is configured to receive a hose within the channel whereby the sheet is configured to scrape debris from the hose as the hose is moved through the hose guide.
Abstract: A device for taking up a fire-fighting hose, allowing the user to quickly and reliably take up the hose with a small force in an upright posture and capable of accurately taking up the hose both in a single layer and in double layers. Wheels (2) are rotatably supported at the lower part of a frame body (1), and a handle (5) is provided to the upper part of the frame body (1). The frame body (1) can be moved by rotating the wheels (2) by pushing or pulling the handle (5). A rotatable reel (3) on which hose (H) is wound is provided to the frame body (1), a power transmitting circulation member (4) is passed over the rotating shaft (33) of the reel (3) and the rotation support shaft (21) of the wheels (2) to enable the reel (3) to rotate in association with the rotation of the wheels (2).
Abstract: A cover reel assembly for laying down or retrieving a ground cover on the ground comprising a first frame attachable to a prime mover, the first frame having support arms to hold a cover reel rotatably, with a hydraulic pump between the prime mover and the first frame, between the first frame and support arms, or between the first frame and a second frame raise and lower the cover reel. The prime mover pushes the cover reel assembly forward to unwind a ground cover from the cover reel onto the ground, simultaneously laying cables or chains on top of the ground cover to hold the ground cover on the ground. The ground cover and cables or chains are rewound by a reverse procedure pushing the cover reel assembly forward. An alternate embodiment operates by pulling the cover reel assembly.
Abstract: The invention involves an insulating glass arrangement with at least one area between the panes, sealed up by glass panes (1, 1′) and an edge layer connection (2), and with a foil shade located in the area between the panes consisting of a sun-blocking foil the end (40) of which is attached to one of the sides of the glass panes (1, 1′) to be covered and which rolls up to a winding (41) on a movable winding shaft (3) or rolls out to a flat surface (42). It also consists of a winding drive unit for transmitting a torque to the winding shaft and of a lateral guide mechanism (5a, 5b) for guiding a bearing system of the winding shaft (3) along a linear path (S), and of a shade drive unit for actuating the foil shade. According to the invention, an internal linear guide mechanism (6a, 6b) is provided for aligning the winding shaft (3) at a right angle to the linear path (S).
Abstract: A cover reel assembly for laying or retrieving a ground cover comprising a first frame attachable to a prime mover, the first frame having pivotal support arms attached rotatably to a cover reel and attached fixedly to a second frame, with a hydraulic device between the first frame and pivotal support arms to raise and lower the cover reel and second frame, the second frame being attached to a third frame having a brush/guide mechanism. The prime mover pushes the cover reel assembly forward with downward pressure from the hydraulic device on the cover reel to unwind a ground cover from the cover reel onto the ground, simultaneously laying cables from cable reels as retainers on the ground cover, with the cable reels attached to the first frame. The ground cover and cables are rewound by a reverse procedure pushing the cover reel assembly forward.
