    Abstract: A cord organizer has a base with first and second posts extending therefrom. First and second flexible nubs couple with the first post and the second post, respectively. The result is a cord organizer formed of two posts around which a cord may be wrapped in a figure-eight pattern. The flexible nubs help to hold the cord onto the posts by preventing the cord from slipping off the ends of the posts on its own. However, when the cord is to be un-stowed from the cord organizer, the cord can be pulled straight away from the cord organizer, causing the flexible nubs to elastically flex to allow the cord to pass without requiring undue pivoting or rotating of the cord organizer, and further without causing twisting of the cord about its longitudinal central axis.     Abstract: A device for storage of earpiece cords normally used with cellular telephones, portable radios and such. The device (8) includes an elongated base (11) with keeper tangs (10) on its top surface, each having outwardly pointing. The cord (4) is wrapped around the keeper tangs (10) and its free end is secured by two compliant tangs (12), (12a) provided for this purpose on the base (11). The device (8) is attached to the case of the cellular phone or portable radio with an adhesive layer (13). In alternate embodiment, the device (8a) has a pivoting keeper tang (18) which enables quick and easy release of the cord from its wound position. Another embodiment (8b) has a hinged keeper tang (38) which also serves to quickly remove the cord. Additional embodiment (8d) consists of two parts (52), (54) where part (52) slides into part (54) in order to adjust the overall length of the device to conform to the case of the cellular phone or portable radio.

A spool is provided which is adapted to hold coiled articles. The spool is telescopically received within the tubular plug. The spool is movable between an extended position extending from the tubular plug and a retracted position retracted within the tubular plug. At least one spool guide couples the spool and the tubular plug and provides cantilever support to the spool when the spool is in the extended position. A locking engagement is provided for locking the spool in the retracted position. This storage device provides improves aerodynamics and aesthetics. It is particularly suited for the recreational vehicle market, where there are width restrictions prescribed by law.

    Abstract: A fishing line spool with different sizes of female threads for removably attaching to a threaded neck of a plastic bottle to create a jug line used for jug fishing. The spool is removed from the bottle for storage. The spool is provided with a line spool area around which fishing line is wrapped to store the line and with a double walled protection flange provided with penetrable material to receive the pointed end of hooks when the fishing line is not in use. A locking pin removably extends through pin openings provided on either side of the spool area to prevent fishing line from unwinding from the thread spool area and as a means of fixing the depth of the fishing line. The locking pin can be removed from the pin openings to allow the fishing line to be wrapped onto or unwrapped from the spool area.

    Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for conveniently storing and retrieving cords associated with electronic devices or other power devices. The apparatus comprises a rectangular plate having opposed top and bottom edges and opposed left and right edges. In one embodiment, for each of the cords a pair of spaced-apart, opposed hooks is mounted on the plate near opposed edges, with each of the hooks comprising a stem having a first end in contact with the plate and a second, opposite end. An arm extends perpendicularly outwardly from the stem second end facing away from the other hook of its pair so cords can be wrapped around the pair. In one embodiment, a surge suppressor is associated with the cord control system. In another embodiment, the plate is made of a polymer material and the posts are molded into the plate. In another embodiment, the plate comprises grooves along the top and bottom edges, and the posts rotate in the grooves.
