  • Patent number: 8919685
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a cylindrical winding for slotless electrical machine according to the following steps: a) a winding head (211) able to move according to three axes X, Y, Z, winds continuously a wire following a predetermined winding program around two sets of needles (80) on the external surface of a first cylindrical tube (6). The needles are located on the conical shaped end surfaces of two identical cylindrical bodies axially juxtaposed and axially and rotatable movable (R). The cylindrical bodies are partially located inside the first cylindrical tube (6), b) after the achievement of the winding operation of all the electrical machine phases all around the 360° peripheral surface of the first cylindrical tube (6) a second cylindrical tube is put around the achieved winding (41); c) the two sets of needles (80) are taken away and the two cylindrical bodies are axially moved away.

  • Patent number: 8807473
Abstract: An automatic winding device for cell core includes a mounting seat, a locking cap mounted on one end of the mounting seat, a winding assembly driving mechanism mounted on the other end of the mounting seat and a winding assembly. The winding assembly includes two winding needles and two winding plates. One end of the winding needles is fixed to the winding driving mechanism and the other end is opposite to the locking cap. One end of the winding plates is fixed to the winding driving mechanism and the other end thereof opposite to the locking cap. The winding plates are disposed on opposing sides of the pair of winding needles and separably contact the pair of winding needles. The winding needles are held together by complementary concave and convex portions, and a groove and a ring groove are formed in the locking cap.

  • Patent number: 7780108
Abstract: In a method for winding an electrical machine, a winding auxiliary body is placed on at least one of the end faces of a base body such as to cover at least one of the slot end openings within a circumferential bridging area. Electrical conductors of a winding system are inserted in at least one of the slots whose slot end opening is on one side of the bridging area and passed through an uncovered slot end opening. Subsequently, the electrical conductors are deflected by the winding auxiliary body and guided to a further uncovered one of the slot end openings on another side of the bridging area. After placement of an end plate having an axially projecting separating element and plugging an axial attachment cutout of the winding auxiliary body onto the separating element, the winding auxiliary body is removed, thereby producing a winding element of the winding system.

  • Patent number: 7775474
Abstract: A wire winding apparatus can reduce the burden of momentum on the side of the nozzle cooperated with the spindle shaft in winding operation, thereby enabling an effective winding operation. The winding apparatus comprises a carrier carrying at least one bobbin to be wound with wire, a nozzle for supplying the wire to be wound around the bobbin, a spindle shaft for rotating the bobbin, a working table disposed opposite to the nozzle and spindle shaft so as to introduce the carrier into between the nozzle and spindle shaft, wherein the spindle shaft is retractable relative to the bobbin carried on the carrier fed onto the working table so as to allow the bobbin to move between the carrier and nozzle.

  • Patent number: 7159816
Abstract: The invention relates to winding wire around a magnetic core. The invention includes forming corners on the wire that align with inside corners of the magnetic core such that the wire is more tightly wound around the magnetic core. The invention also includes pinching a portion of wire that is positioned on the internal diameter of a magnetic core when the wire is wound around the core to provide more turns of the wire around the magnetic core. A magnetic inductor made in accordance with the present invention can have increased inductance, lower temperature rise, smaller size, and exhibit less EMI noise than the prior art.

  • Patent number: 6200397
Abstract: A novel method and apparatus to apply a corrosion protection in the form of a zinc (or other sacrificial anodic material) tape to a tubular member such as pipe or coiled tubing to used as an underground or underwater pipeline or flow line is disclosed. The zinc tape is applied with sufficient heat and pressure to form a metallurgical bond between the zinc tape and underlying metal pipe. This allows the zinc tape to act simultaneously as a continuous protective metal barrier to the normal scrapes and nicks the pipe experiences during installation and as a sacrificial anode. The novel apparatus preheats the zinc tape with a nozzle containing heated gas such as nitrogen as it approaches the pipe surface. At the point of contact with the pipe surface, the nozzle continues heating the tape and pipe surface while a plurality of pressure rollers exert sufficient force on the zinc tape to form a metallurgical bond between the zinc tape and the pipe surface.
