  • Patent number: 11926944
Abstract: In thread cutting mechanism portions of a lower thread winding device, two groove portions of an inner threading groove portion and an outer threading groove portion are formed on a holder. In the inner threading groove portion, one end portion is opened to one of an intersecting direction intersecting with a radial direction of the holder at an outer peripheral portion of the holder and another end portion is located at an inner side of a small-diameter bobbin in the radial direction. The outer threading groove portion is located at an outer side of the inner threading groove portion in the radial direction of the holder. In the outer threading groove portion, one end portion is communicated with the inner threading groove portion and located at the outer side of a large-diameter bobbin in the radial direction and another end portion is located at the inner side of the large-diameter bobbin in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 11124382
Abstract: A pair of flanges attachable to the arbor hole of a reel is disclosed. The flanges provide a mechanism to allow the reel to be easily loaded, and lifted into place. Once loaded into place, the flanges may include a locking mechanism that locks the reel in place, centered on the flanges. Additionally, the flanges are attachable using a hub that allows them to rotate independently from one another, and from the reel to which they are attached.

  • Patent number: 10011456
Abstract: Method for implementing a correct winding of a wire on a spool (100). The method also comprises a step for calculating the angular speed of a motor (43) displacing the wire dispensing device (40) according to the wire winding step and according to the dancer error, detected by a position sensor (35) that provides an analogical signal with respect to a zero position and to a tolerance value, in order to determine the presence of a possible “valley error”, or of a possible “peak error”. In this method, if during the spool winding, a “valley error” or a “peak error” is detected, the control device decides whether to slow down or to increase the speed of the wire dispensing device (40) with the aim of filling the depression or skipping the peak.

  • Patent number: 8245965
Abstract: A parallel conductor spool can support multiple independently rotating bays. The parallel conductor spool may be used to hold and pay-out materials. The parallel conductor spool can support independent rotation of the bays at differing rates to provide for paying-out conductors of varying sizes at different speeds. The parallel conductor spool may be modular and expandable to support various configurations. The parallel conductor spool may be formed of disposable or recyclable materials to reduce the cost and logistical complexity of returning the spool. The bays within the parallel conductor spool can be configured to accommodate changes in product size, type, lengths, and the number of items on, or bays within, the spool.

  • Patent number: 6543714
Abstract: A feeding device for the simultaneous feeding of several continuously incoming threads on bobbin cases of a winding device located on a bobbin holder for the simultaneous winding with a carrier bracket with thread guides located thereon for each incoming thread provides, for the easy insertion of the threads to be wound into the thread guides and therefore an accurately fitting transfer into the bobbin cases that the thread guides are arranged displaceably along the carrier bracket. The thread guides are displaced parallel to the bobbin holder and consequently also parallel to the bobbin cases located thereon. Thus, with the displacement device it is possible to position the thread guides with clearly defined mutual spacings corresponding to the length of in each case one bobbin case.

Abstract: The spooling device is provided for continuously incoming threads. The device has at least one bobbin holder for receiving several bobbin tubes. The bobbin holder is fixed at one end and has an opposite loading end. The bobbin holder is connected to a bobbin positioning device which supports the bobbin first end. The bobbin positioning device moves the bobbin holder between a first spooling position and a second removal position. A second end support is provided which engages the free end of the bobbin holder only in the first spooling position and does not block the bobbin holder from removal in the second removal position.

  • Patent number: 6435450
Abstract: A multi-compartment paralleling reel that allows different sets of wire to be drawn from the paralleling reel independently of each other. The multi-compartment paralleling reel includes a plurality of independent compartments. Each independent compartment can store a set of wire. A shaft mounted through the plurality of independent compartments allows each independent compartment to rotate relative to the shaft and allows each independent compartment to rotate independently of the other independent compartments. Thus, each set of wire can be drawn from each independent compartment of the multi-compartment paralleling reel independently of the other independent compartments. This allows the different sets of wire, which may include wires that have different diameter sizes, to be drawn from the independent compartments at different rates of speed or the same speed, depending upon what is desired.

  • Patent number: 6425545
Abstract: An apparatus for forming multiple packages on a single collet includes a pair of collets that are mounted on a rotatable turret. A moving strand is provided and the collet is rotated to wind the strand and build a first package on one end of the collet. The strand is reciprocated with a strand reciprocator to lay the strand on the package surface as the package rotates. After the first package is built, a strand positioner and a secondary shoe assist in transferring the strand to build a second package on the collet. After the second package is built, the turret is rotated while the cam moves away from the collet and turret. The strand breaks off after a few revolutions of the second collet. Then, the cam moves toward the second collet to begin building a first package on the second collet.

The first traverse mechanism 11 and second traversemechanism 15 are displaced independently of one another, so even when a wire of fine diameter is rapidly wound on a narrow width, the coil winding alignment does not break down, and the coil turns can be wound at high speed in an orderly arrangement.

  • Patent number: 6193185
Abstract: An automatic cord winder for steel cord braiding machines is disclosed. The winder automatically and continuously drives a spool assembly during a steel cord winding operation. In the spool assembly, a plurality of spools are assembled together into a longitudinal single assembly with a side plate siding each end of the assembly. A spool inlet channel and a spool outlet opening are formed on a winder body. A bobbin lift, movably set in the winder body, is selectively raised upwardly along with the spool assembly from an interior position of the body by a lead screw, thus discharging the spool assembly from the body to a designated position above the top wall of the body through the spool outlet opening. Head and tail stocks, individually having a movable cylinder, are positioned on the top wall of the winder body at positions around the spool outlet opening and selectively rotate the spool assembly while holding the assembly.
