Abstract: A cord management system includes a strap. The strap has a first set of magnets attached to a first location on the strap and a second set of magnets attached to a second location on the strap. The strap also includes at least two modes of operation. In a first mode of operation, the first set of magnets is magnetically attached to the second set of magnets so that a first segment of the strap located between the first set of magnets and the second set of magnets forms a loop configured to secure a cord that is wrapped around the strap. In a second mode of operation, the first set of magnets is magnetically detached from the second set of magnets so that the first segment no longer forms the loop. The strap is also configured to be coupled to an object.

Abstract: A method (200) for coiling an earphone set (10) comprising at least one earphone (11), at least one cable (12), one for each earphone (11), and a connector (14), the method comprising: coiling the at least one cable (12) around a cable strap (21) having at least one end (22); passing a first (22) of the at least one end of the cable strap (21) over a first (11) of the earphones by inserting the first earphone (11) through a first slot (23) in the first end (22) for attaching the first earphone (11) to the cable strap (21); and passing a second (22) of the at least one end of the cable strap (21) over a second (11) of the earphones by inserting the second earphone (11) through a second slot (23) in the second end (22) for releasably attaching the second earphone (11) to the cable strap (21).

Abstract: To improve the breaking of a roving between a pressing finger bed and a fully wound bobbin preliminary to a bobbin change, the roving is initially wound around the tube above the upper cone and an unwound roving reserve is formed from at least a half turn on the upper winding cone and the body. A false twist is generated to provide a weakened region so that the roving has a first segment extending from the upper edge of the upper winding cone to the lower edge thereof, a second segment extending to the weakened zone and a third segment extending from the weakened zone to the pressing finger bed. The false twist increases the number of twists per unit length in the first segment and decreases the number of twists per unit length in the second and third segments. The pressing finger is moved along the bobbin periphery and the roving is broken at the weak spot by further movement of the pressing finger relative to the bobbin.
