Peripherally Supported Coil Patents (Class 242/594.1)
  • Patent number: 8056234
Abstract: A stock supply station for use in a insulated glass unit component production line includes a plurality of rotatable sheet stock coils, an indexing mechanism, and an uncoiling mechanism. The indexing mechanism is coupled to the sheet stock coils for indexing a selected one of the sheet stock coils to an uncoiling position. The uncoiling mechanism selectively uncoils sheet stock from a sheet stock coil indexed to the uncoiling position to thereby provide sheet stock to a downstream processing station.

  • Patent number: 7478591
Abstract: Cylindrical twineballs are stored on their sides with the twine dispensing end of each ball facing outwardly away from the baler to facilitate operator access. The twineballs are stored in a pattern consisting of horizontal rows and upright columns, with the upright columns inclined laterally so as to present an overall, generally skewed parallelogram effect to maximize the packing density within a given amount of space. The balls are supported within cradles that may advantageously be interconnected to present multiple, horizontally extending, transversely corrugated shelves. The shelves are upwardly and outwardly inclined to help retain the balls in place.

A removable divider is provided to convert the dispenser for use with different size paper rolls. Brackets for rotatably mount a paper roll extend from the bottom of the enclosure for dispensing individual sheets. Removable decorative panels are provided for mounting proximate the front and side walls. The dispenser may be supported on a horizontal surface by the bottom, suspended from a vertical surface or hung from a door. Openings in the walls permit observation of the number of papers rolls remaining in the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6481665
Abstract: A storage and dispensing bin has a plurality of vertically spaced chutes, each of which are capable of receiving a plurality of rolls of web stock material and dispensing material from an end-most roll through guides located at the desired vertical position with respect to a work surface. The chutes are inclined at angles to allow roll web stock to advance to a movable gate which allows the next roll of web stock in line to be advanced to a dispensing station when one roll is depleted. Each dispensing space station includes horizontally spaced rollers on which the web stock rests. A keeper bar extends in front of the web stock for holding it in placed as material is dispensed therefrom. A lateral stop is provided for holding the web stock, which may be of different widths, in predetermined horizontal alignment with respect to the work surface.
