Abstract: A travelling vehicle system that allows a travelling vehicle to smoothly pass through a switching region where a state of a track is switched. The system includes a switching device which switches a state of a track in the switching region, and a host controller which manages a travelling vehicle. The switching device includes a detector which detects the state of the track in the switching region, and a report device which is arranged along the track from the switching region toward the upstream side of the track and reports switching information showing the state of the track. The host controller includes a permission issuing part which issues to the travelling vehicle controller a passage permission, and the travelling vehicle controller includes a travelling control part which determines whether or not to stop before the switching region based on the passage permission and the switching information.
Abstract: A nursing bottle ensemble having a dual chamber bottle, cap assembly and bottle sleeve including an upper feeding chamber attachable to a lower nipple storage chamber by threading means. Upper feeding chamber with a conventional nipple and ring assembly attached to the bottle top. A cap assembly having an upper cap portion used for storing nipples, pacifiers or snack attachable to a lower cap portion used for bottle closure. The bottle sleeve providing protection for the bottle while occupies the baby with movement of colorful ornaments inside the clear casing filled with non-toxic gel.
Abstract: A point switching device that is disposed at a diverging point on tracks on which a movable body travels is provided. This point switching device includes: a point that rotates around a support point on one end, and can move between a first position and a second position; a first coil that generates an induction field to drive the point to the first position; a second coil that generates an induction field to drive the point to the second position; and an excitation control unit that selectively supplies an intermittent exciting current to the first coil or the second coil.
Abstract: A system for guidance and/or switching of a vehicle or other object comprises a guideway, a guide plate that moves along the guideway, and a magnetic field source that induces a magnetic force between the guide plate and at least a portion of the guideway over which the guide plate is moving. The guide plate is attached to the vehicle or coupled to its steering systems. The magnetic force centers the guide plate along the guideway by opposing any lateral deviation from center. The magnetic field source is a permanent magnet, an electromagnet (including a superconducting magnet) or any other known magnetic field source. It is preferably included in, or forms part of, the guide plate. Likewise, the guide rail preferably comprises ferromagnetic or paramagnetic material, i.e., a material that forms a temporary magnet in the presence of the magnetic field of the source.

Abstract: A linear induction rail switch mechanism having at least one linear induction motor (LIM) for transversely thrusting a switch track from a first position to a second position. To reduce the frictional forces during transverse movement, the switch mechanism can be levitated from the underlying structures. The switch can have at least one controllable power supply which may supply electric power to an individual LIM or groups of LIMs, which may be three-phase motors. The switch may include a vital controller which is connected to at least one controllable power supply. The vital controller responds to at least one of a feedback signal from a controllable power supply, a feedback signal from a LIM, a feedback signal from a switch track, and a remote signal. The LIM may include a primary inductor which is affixed substantially rigidly to the ground and a secondary which is affixed to the switch track. In some embodiments, the secondary may be a ladder secondary.

Abstract: A turntable bearing tracks at a switching point in an amusement ride course, or other vehicular path having tracks, utilizes two linear induction motors, one for rotating the turntable and one for latching the turntable at selected rotational positions. The linear induction motors are mounted beneath the turntable and operate with an extremely high degree of reliability.
