Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices and methods for livestock feeding and care. The livestock feeding devices include two horizontal bars adapted to be strung through a hay net, and further include at least two mounting brackets which each include a zigzag channel. One horizontal bar is fixed in place on the mounting brackets, and the other horizontal bar moves in and out of the zigzag channels of the mounting brackets.

Abstract: The current invention relates to a bin used in combination with a liner for various purposes, including but not limited to the disposal of trash and the collection of recycled material. The bin having an exterior surface, an interior surface, a body, a closed bottom end, an open top end, and an interior chamber. The bin including at least a slideable top portion allowing for the top opening of the bin to be adjusted in periphery thereby enabling liners of various sizes to be secured in the interior chamber of the bin. In addition, a bin including of a lid with an adjustable member securable within the bin lid enabling liners of various sizes to be secured in the interior chamber of the bin.

Abstract: A centrifuge insert is provided which is not only suited for one type of sample container or sample carrier but for at least two geometrically different elements from the group consisting of sample container and sample carrier. This achieves that the same centrifuge insert can be used for different sample containers or sample carriers. This provides space savings, in particular in the lab. Furthermore acquisition cost is reduced, and handling is accelerated by reducing manual complexity which increases lab through put.

Abstract: The ceiling tile ladder attachment device holds ceiling tiles while a user is working on a ladder to install or replace the tiles in the ceiling, in addition to storing tiles that have to be removed from the ceiling and held for re-installation after performing other maintenance above the tiles. The ceiling tile ladder attachment device includes a rectangular wire rack that attaches to the back side of a ladder. The wire rack has a hook part on the back side. The hook part preferably attaches to the wire rack in two places to prevent the wire rack from swinging or slipping on the ladder. The hook part includes adjustable hook points for different styles and sizes of step ladders. The user can attach the ceiling tile ladder attachment device to the backside of the ladder using the hook part.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a trash bag retaining apparatus and system that secures a trash bag inside a trash receptacle and enables a sliding motion for subsequent removal of the secured trash bag. In particular, the apparatus includes a proximal end insertable into a support arm of a trash receptacle. The distal end includes a slide stop in addition to an abutment face that abuts the support arm upon insertion of the proximal end into the support arm. The abutment face is sized and shaped to match a size and shape of the support arm. Further, the distal end also includes one or more surfaces defining an inlet, positioned between the slide stop and the abutment face, where the trash bag retaining apparatus can secure a portion of the trash bag to the support arm.

The frame, in use, is disposed at an operative position relative to the container and is engaged by the clips to suspend the bag interiorly of the container such that the mouth of the bag is open, presents upwardly and is disposed adjacent the rim of the container. The securement apparatus, in use, holds the frame at the operative position.

The animal waste-collecting device is configured for use in the collection of the excrement of the companion animal. The animal waste-collecting device comprises a telescopic structure, a ring mount, a capture head, and a lamp. The ring mount attaches the capture head to the telescopic structure such that the faces of the capture head rotate relative to the center axis of the telescopic shaft. The capture head is configured for use with a disposable collection bag. The disposable collection bag attaches to the capture head such that the excrement is captured during the elimination process of the companion animal.

Abstract: A bucket waste bag holder accessory that includes a support ring with a pendent skirt with at least two legs attached or formed on the front surface of the support ring or pendent skirt. Formed on the distal ends of each leg is a U-shaped clip configured to snap fit over the rounded top edge of a bucket. During installation, the top edge of a plastic bag is folded over the support ring and the pendent skirt and the closed end of the plastic bag is extended through a center opening. The legs are sufficiently spaced apart and extend downward from the support ring to support the top opening of the bag is a suspended, elevated position above the bucket while the closed end of the plastic bag rests inside the bucket. In one embodiment, the legs are configured to selectively rotate enabling them to attach to buckets with different top edges. An optional elastic strap may hold the plastic bag on the support ring and pendent skirt when filling the plastic bag with waste.

Abstract: A storm drain sediment filter that can be adapted to cover a catch basin and be held in place by a perforated grate. In one embodiment, the filter includes a frame including four L-shaped rigid members, each of which is provided with at least two spaced apart retaining members. The four L-shaped rigid members are arranged such that a rectangular frame is formed having a total of four overlapping sections. The retaining members engage one of the overlapping portions of the frame but slidably receives the other. No retaining ends are formed at the distal end of the slidably engaged L-shaped members to serve as a sliding boundary. Instead, the dimensions of the filter bag are such that the filter bag serves to define the maximum dimension of the frame and thereby maintain the overlapping L-shaped rigid members in slidable engagement with each other. A circular embodiment is also disclosed.

Abstract: A multiple bag hanging cart is described. Embodiments of the multiple bag hanging cart can include a longitudinal divider having a plurality of dual prong hooks and a plurality of single prong hooks spaced along right and left sides of the cart. The dual prong hooks of the longitudinal divider can be configured to be aligned with respective single prong hooks located on either side of the cart. In use, one or more bags can be hung within a basket of the cart via the dual prong hooks and the single prong hooks to allow for easy insertion of items into the bags.

Abstract: Described is a bagging station that uses a bag retaining fixture. The bag retaining fixture holds paper bags open at the bagging station so the paper bags can be filled without the bag moving or falling off the bagging station. The bag retaining fixture includes a plate and an elongate rod. The plate is coupled to the bagging station. The elongate rod is coupled to the plate such that the elongate rod captures a side of a paper bag between the elongate rod and a side wall of the bagging station. The bagging station can have a number of bag retaining fixtures coupled to it, so that a number of paper bags can be held open at a time, and filled with purchased items.

Abstract: A transport bag (15) for transporting and/or storing articles comprises a front wall (21b) and a back wall (21a) that are flexibly connected to one another via a bottom section (21c) so as to be movable back and forth between a first configuration in which the front wall and back wall form an upwardly open bag that can be filled from above, and a second configuration in which the front wall and back wall lie closely alongside one another and form a bag that is folded together, wherein the back wall (21a) is extended upward above and beyond the height of the front wall (21b) with a support section (15a) for fastening the transport bag (15) to a transport device (10.2). Easy filling and emptying of the transport bag (15) is achieved by providing an opening (16, 19, 20) that automatically brings the transport bag (15) into the first configuration and keeps the transport bag there, and allows a deliberate shift from the first configuration into the second configuration.

Abstract: A simple, portable carrier for a non-rigid container such as a plastic bag or sack that permits container to remain open for filling with articles or materials while serving as a carrying handle, especially suitable for highway crew members cleaning debris over long stretches of roadway. Device is comprised of a rigid member such as a hollow rod (tube), snug-fitting end caps, and end cap retaining bands. A segment of the open end of container is entrapped at each end of rigid member and held in place by friction between end caps and each end of rigid member. The device is reusable and is small enough to be carried in a pocket or on a belt loop.

Abstract: In some embodiments, systems, apparatuses and methods are provided herein that are useful for holding containers open. For example, in some forms a cart accessory and cart are disclosed herein with an apparatus for holding open a receptacle or container. In one form, the apparatus is an accessory including an elongated body having a cart attachment mechanism for securing the cart accessory to at least a portion of a cart, a receptacle securing mechanism connected to the elongated body via a tether, the receptacle securing mechanism being movable between a retracted position wherein the securing mechanism is positioned proximate the elongated body and an extended position wherein the securing mechanism is spaced apart from the elongated body closer to at least a portion of a receptacle to assist in holding open the receptacle when connected thereto. In another form a cart is disclosed having such a container holding apparatus.

The supports of the stepladder are coupled by the spread stoppers, whereby the three supports are restricted from being displaced forward, to the right rear, and to the left rear.

Abstract: A guard for and method of preventing household doors from slamming shut when excessive force is used while closing is disclosed. The guard includes a padded body and an attachment mechanism for hanging the guard from a door knob in a manner that allows the guard to swing freely with respect to the door knob. In some embodiments, the guard can include certain electronics to indicate and/or store “door slam events.

Rotation of the hopper assembly causes the hopper assembly to be in a fill or storage position. A release mechanism facilitates the release and placement of filled bags.

Abstract: A method and device of inserting a food stuff into a food stuff bag is disclosed, with the method involving providing a substantially flexible resilient food stuff support that is generally “U” shaped when viewed from its operative position on a countertop, inserting at least a first end of the device a short depth into an opening of a pliable bag, such first end having an edge that is curved and opposing sides that are substantially straight. A bending mechanism bends so that at least the first end deforms from a first configuration to a second configuration for insertion of the first end through the bag opening and into an interior of the bag, wherein when the forces are reduced, the first end changes shape toward the first configuration for holding a portion of the bag and for providing an open volume within the bag for transferring a food stuff to the interior of the bag.

Abstract: A garbage can liner system for use in a single compartment of a refuse container where the container volume is divided into subsections by placing and attaching a refuse receptacle divider system across the top of the container and by securing two garbage bags inside the container by attaching the bags to the divider system and to opposing ends of the container as is normally done. The divider system is adjustable so as to accommodate various sized containers so a single divider system can be used serially in several different garbage cans.

Abstract: A bag rack and packing system for a plastic grocery bag having a pair of handles has a base to which is connected (1) a three-sided rack having a reservoir bag holder for plastic bags and two arms and (2) a three-sided support having two side supports and an intermediate back support, with each of the side supports having a forward upper tab close to the three-sided rack, an intermediate top and then a rearward edge. The three-sided rack and three-sided support have open faces that face each other so that the three-sided support temporarily creates a defined physical frame for a first plastic grocery bag when its handles are secured over the forward upper tabs of the two side supports. The forward upper tabs help separate an individual bag from a reservoir of bags and the individual bag may remain attached to, or be detached from, the reservoir of bags as it is being filled.

Abstract: A device for holding open the mouth of a drawstring trash bag is disclosed. The device rests on top of the partially closed mouth of the trash bag and is secured in place by the bag's drawstrings. Ideally, the bag will be hanging to create the necessary tension in the drawstrings to keep the device in place. The device comprises a rigid plate with a hole, and notches for receiving the drawstrings. The hole is sized to receive disposable beverage cans or other similar waste. A portion of the upper surface of the plate may be dedicated to the display of promotional indicia. A holder for hanging the trash bag by its drawstrings is also disclosed. The holder may be mounted to the rear bumper of an automobile or other similar location.

Abstract: A bag rack and packing system for a plastic grocery bag having a pair of handles has a base to which is connected (1) a wire-arm rack having a reservoir bag holder for plastic bags and two wire-arms and (2) a three-sided support having two side supports connected to an intermediate back support, with each of the side supports having a forward upper tab close to the wire-arm rack, an intermediate top and then a rearward edge. The wire-arm rack and three-sided support have open faces that face each other so that the three-sided support temporarily creates a defined physical frame for a first plastic grocery bag when its handles are secured over the forward upper tabs of the two side supports. The forward upper tabs help separate an individual bag from a reservoir of bags and the individual bag may remain attached to, or be detached from, the reservoir of bags as it is being filled. A rearward edge of the sides of the three-sided support is beveled to make removal of a filled bag quick and efficient.

Abstract: A garbage bag holder includes a base frame and a pair of side frames extending upwardly at spaced apart positions from the base frame to receive a paper bag or a plastic bag between the side frames. Depending frames are suspended from the top ends of the two side frames so as to be arranged to extend downwardly only partway into a paper bag so that the particular size of the frame is not required to be critically matched to the bags being used nor does the frame become soiled by the contents of the bag. Outward biasing force can be applied to the depending frames by the side frames along the full height of the depending frames to prevent any tearing at the top edges of a paper bag. Alternatively, a plastic bag can be held under tension between the top ends of the side frames.

A hoist mounted on the bin is manipulated so that the hoist raises an upper end of the collapsed bag within the chamber while the first port remains fixed within the port hole so as to expand the collapsed bag within the chamber of the bin.

A rim supports the mouth of the bag, while a handle and forearm brace permit a user to hold it easily and without fatigue. The handle and brace are placed at the edge of the rim so as to leave the opening unobstructed and maximize versatility for both trash and leaf pickup.

Abstract: A lawn and leaf bag holder apparatus and method of use and manufacture comprising an arm holder and at least a pair of arms which are capable of holding a bag in an upright and open position. The bag holder adjusts to and holds a plurality of bag mouth sizes via elastic or spring separation, and provides for easy transport with a cart or dolly and easy storage especially for partially filled bags. The bag holder is especially suited for conventional biodegradable and recyclable lawn and leaf bags used to store or dispose of lawn or garden clippings or debris.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bag (1) for packaging a biological substance, such as animal semen, which is formed by two plastic walls (10, 11) assembled so as to define a pouch (P) for receiving said substance and that comprises a line (15) communicating with said pouch (P) a line for filling the same, this bag comprising in addition at least one pair of openings (3, 4) located on both sides of said line (15), in order to get hung, via these openings, to fingers that are complementary to a supporting device. The invention relates also to a strip formed by juxtaposing such bags (1), and an assembly comprised of a bag and a hanging support.
