A slot in the mounting surface receives a knob secured to the device. Arms extend from the mounting surface part way between the end part and the curved part and each has an opening to receive a threaded fastener that is also received by a threaded opening in an end surface of the device.

They are collapsible, extendable, and able to accommodate a wide variety of different accessories. To add accessories, carts can include one or more coupling components. Each coupling component includes at least one clamp that can be tightened around a cart's vertical frame along with a female coupler and a male coupler. The female coupler can be attached to a clamp and a male coupler can be attached to an accessory. The male coupler features a v-shaped extrusion and the female coupler features a complementary v-shaped intrusion allowing the male coupler to couple with the female coupler so that accessories can be added to the cart in a cantilevered manner.

Abstract: A computer docking station devised to save desktop space while also eliminating the presence of permanent cables that can clutter the work surface is disclosed. The computer docking station utilizes a split design, with a lower dock subassembly positioned beneath the work surface for housing the permanent cables necessary for the computer workstation to operate and an upper dock subassembly comprising one or more data ports positioned on top of the work surface. A monitor arm mount can be attached to, or integrated into, the upper dock subassembly, thereby alleviating the need for a separate monitor arm mount without negatively impacting the docking station's footprint.
