Abstract: A sheet metal pallet wherein the runners are attached to the deck by integral interrelating connections which obviate the need for welding, bolting or riveting.
Abstract: A shelf and corner post assembly wherein the shelf is adjustable into any of a variety of selected elevations. Each of the generally cylindrical corner posts is provided with one or more series of indentations adapted to receive arm portions of a U-shaped clip. A screw urges the clip into engagement with the post to clamp the post within a corner section of the perimetric frame of the shelf. A corner brace is secured to the frame and, in one form, extends horizontally between the upper and lower arms of the clip. The frame includes flanges which slope to promote drainage and edges which are spaced from the clip to prevent possible dirt accumulation and to facilitate assembly.
Abstract: The cabinets are equipped with elongated three-sided, flanged or webbed channels, opening downward and extending along a bottom edge. A plurality of detachable leg assemblies, having extendable feet is provided which have top plates that fit into the channels in an interlocking and mating arrangement. Holding means for each leg comprise set screws or the like that impinge against one flange of the channel and force the opposite edge or flange of the plate into the corner defined by the other flange of the channel. The legs can be inserted at intermediate or end positions along the channels at desired positions without the necessity of insertion into the open ends and sliding them longitudinally of the channels for proper placement. A modified telescoping leg assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: Each of the four corners of the tempered glass plate in a chrome and glass table rests within a different one of the tubular legs of the table with its apex being centered in the leg and its sides abutting vertical sides of a recessed notch in the tubular wall of the leg, each corner being held in place by a different glass-plate retainer which engages a corresponding tubular leg substantially around its entire circumference and abuts the top of the glass plate. In an embodiment of table having horizontal chrome rims extending between legs of the table and supporting the sides of the plate along its center portion, the glass-plate retainer has a shroud extending downwardly and around the outer joints between the rims and the leg to cover unsightly construction features and has an upper portion elevated above the shroud to engage the top of the glass plate.
Abstract: A joint construction, especially for furniture or the like, in which members such as rail members, or the like, which extend at angles to each other, are joined together by a plastic block formed in situ on at least a pair of the members. The block may form a joint where a furniture leg is located. The plastic block, when it is to be connected to a leg may be formed directly on the leg or it may be formed with a recess therein engageable with an end part on the leg.
