  • Patent number: 11933060
Abstract: A telescopic edge protection post arrangeable between a floor and a ceiling, comprising outer and inner tubes, each comprising a bottom end and a top end, the inner tube extending into the outer tube and being movable with respect thereto between an extended position and a collapsed position. The post further comprises a locking mechanism to lock the inner tube with respect to the outer tube in the extended position, and a tensioning unit arranged at the top end of the inner tube. The tensioning unit comprises a tensioning element having a primary and secondary tensioning portions, wherein tensioning of the secondary tensioning portion requires a lower force than the primary tensioning portion, allowing tensioning of the secondary tensioning portion by extending the telescopic edge protection post by hand into engagement with the floor and the ceiling. Further, the primary and secondary tensioning portions each comprise a compression spring.

  • Patent number: 11530542
Abstract: A partition mount system includes an integrated plunger assembly. The integrated plunger assembly is constructed and arranged to be integrated into an interior of an end of an extension pole, for example a standard telescoping extension pole. Mounting of the plunger in an interior portion of the pole in this manner provides for a sleek design that is relatively lightweight. Assuming that the pole in which the anchor is mounted is part of a telescoping pole system, the anchor and plunger do not interfere with full travel of the interior pole with respect to other poles in the telescoping system. In this manner, operation of the telescoping pole system is not inhibited by the integrated plunger assembly.

  • Patent number: 9022326
Abstract: A support for pipes uses a telescoping strut slidably holding an elongated insert with a threaded post extending outward from the insert, through a slot in the C-shaped cross-section of the struts. A bracket fits over the post and abuts supports opposing edges of the strut. A nut on the post clamps the parts immovably together. The bracket has a depending portion extending below the strut with an opening through which a pipe passes. Two threaded couplers with opposing ramped surfaces encircle the pipe and deform when tightened to clamp the pipe while also clamping opposing sides of the depending portion.

  • Publication number: 20150048224
Abstract: A device for supporting a television includes a compressible, adjustable length pole on which is slidably mounted a bracket. The pole includes first and second elongated members that are joined in a telescoping relationship. A pair of springs resiliently urges the first and second members apart and thereby enables the pole to be easily and reliably installed in a vertical orientation between the floor and ceiling of a room. The mounting bracket includes a flat plate to which the television is coupled and a pair of arms, the distal end of each arm being dimensioned for fitted insertion into a corresponding longitudinal side channel formed in the pole. As such, the mounting bracket is designed to be linearly displaced along the length of the pole and subsequently locked in place relative thereto. In this manner, the viewing height of a television mounted on the bracket can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 8857499
