  • Patent number: 6578335
Abstract: A wall framework includes top and bottom tracks, a horizontal channel and vertical studs. A first vertical stud is secured to the top track and the bottom track and has a first opening sized and shaped to permit the horizontal channel to extend therethrough and a second opening vertically spaced from the first opening. A second vertical stud is secured to the top track and the bottom track and has a third opening sized and shaped to permit the channel to extend therethrough and a fourth opening vertically spaced from the fourth opening. At least one clip extends through the first opening and the second opening. A fastener connects the horizontal channel to the clip. The clip cooperates with the fastener to secure the horizontal channel in a fixed relationship to the first vertical stud.

Abstract: A picture hanger with a height adjustable hook allows the height of the picture to be adjusted from time to time. The hanger uses a back plate on which two opposed crenelated tracks are positioned. Moving in the crenelated tracks are two spring biased crenelated cars. The hook is attached to the crenelated cars. Additional stability is provided to the cars by either a traveling plate which moves between the tracks and the back plate or a traveling block which is slidably mounted in a channel in the back plate and on a rod positioned in the channel of the back plate.

  • Patent number: 6425563
Abstract: A clamp for use on a retail or commercial display device wherein a rod is slidingly received in a channel and selectively positionable therein by an position locking member. A hook plate attached to a display element, such as shelving, hanger rods, etc. has hooks for engaging a bolt mounted to the rod. A knob on the bolt is tightened to clamp the hook plate between the rod, or the post, and the inner face of the knob. The clamp may be locked in position while the hook plate is released or attached. Similarly, the hook plate may stay clamped to the display while the position lock is released, thereby permitting the clamp to be moved along the channel while the hook plate is still clamped thereto.
