An angular measurement section extending from the first portion and having multiple visible features thereon is usable to secure the connector to the upright member at a selected angle by aligning a selected visible feature with a portion of the upright member. Each visible feature corresponds to a selected angular relationship, such that a desired angle between the horizontally extending member and the upright member can be provided through selective alignment of a corresponding visible feature of the connector with the upright member.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 2010Date of Patent: April 2, 2013Inventors: Fred C. Patent number: 8403289Abstract: A universal bracket is provided for mounting electrical boxes. The bracket includes a generally rectangular first plate having at least one aperture defined within the first plate. The aperture is shaped to provide access to an electrical box mounted to the first plate, and further includes first and second pairs of diagonally opposite corners. A second plate extends rearward and substantially perpendicular to the first plate and located proximate a first side of the aperture. The first plate further includes one or more fastening portions and a plurality of mounting holes disposed about the fastening portions. One or more of the mounting holes are positioned for mounting the bracket to a vertical structural member adjacent either of two opposite sides of the bracket or a horizontal element adjacent a third side of the bracket, maintaining a particular bracket orientation.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2009Date of Patent: March 26, 2013Inventor: Eric R. Rinderer

Patent number: 8398039Abstract: A mounting plate having at least two L-shaped mounting flanges alternatively offset from a centerline defined to bisect the mounting flanges. A mounting system including a plurality of mounting plates with interlocking mounting flanges positioned horizontally on a mounting frame of one standard rack unit (1.75 inches) height. A mounting system including a plurality of mounting footprints with overlapping fastener flanges positioned horizontally on a mounting frame of one standard rack unit width. A method of mounting plates configured and dimensioned to receive a fiber optic coupler or adapter including a mounting a plurality of plates having at least two L-shaped mounting flanges into a mounting frame such that the mounting flanges of adjacent plates are configured to interlock or overlap.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2010Date of Patent: March 19, 2013Assignee: Ortronics, Inc.Inventors: Adam Murano, Chester Rynaski, David Hubbard

Publication number: 20130062480Abstract: A sleeve bracket assembly has a frame and multiple first sleeve mounts. The frame has a first sleeve track having a groove. Each first sleeve mount has a base and a hollow positioning button protruding from a top surface of the base and having a retractable protrusion or a flange. The cross section of the base or the positioning button of each first sleeve mount is round, so sleeves can be rotated. The protrusions and the flanges can securely position the sleeves. Accordingly, the sleeve bracket assembly can position the sleeves firmly and also allow the sleeves to be rotated.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2011Publication date: March 14, 2013Inventor: Jui-Chien Kao

Patent number: 8366066Abstract: An extendable and retractable column which is formed from at least three linked sections. The linked sections include a plurality of individual sections linked end to end. As the linked sections are extended, each of the individual sections of the linked chains engage individual sections of adjacent linked chains to form a column. As the linked sections are retracted, each of the individual sections of the linked chains disengage from the individual section of the adjacent linked sections and the individual linked sections may be rolled up for compact storage.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2009Date of Patent: February 5, 2013Assignee: Tower Solutions, LLCInventors: Mark Colman, John Norris

Patent number: 8342466Abstract: A support bracket that is stable in multiple dimensions includes a flat support platform and a coupling flange connected to an end of the support platform. A mount flange is connected to an end of the coupling flange, with a hole being formed in the mount flange. An L-shaped hook member extends away from an edge of the mount flange. The hook member is advanced into a slot in a support substrate and slid until it abuts an end of the slot, with the mount flange disposed flush against the support substrate. A fastener is then advanced through the mount flange and into the support substrate. This combination of structure securely holds the bracket on the substrate.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2009Date of Patent: January 1, 2013Assignees: Sony Corporation, Sony Electronics Inc.Inventor: James Toshima
