The sample rack includes dual hooks on the ends for engaging a sample rack handling system. Chamfers formed in the housing of the sample rack assist in placing and removing the sample rack from a sample rack handling system. The sample tube rack also includes a handle that extends upward from one end and includes gripping features. A groove and bar, incorporated into each sample rack, are able to selectively interlock with adjacent racks to assist in lifting multiple sample racks together.

The door, in combination with the gap, allow a user to use the umbrella stand with umbrellas with handles of various shapes and sizes.

Abstract: A microphone is mounted to apparatus in order to receive sound from a sound source. The apparatus has a microphone clamp to secure different microphones to a variety of musical instruments and other sound sources and may be used to directly mount a microphone to a variety of clamping surfaces. The mounting apparatus incorporates a dual jaw design to allow for easy, fast, and secure mounting to the clamping surface. The apparatus supports a quick release mechanism for easy and fast engagement and disengagement of the dual jaws, consequently reducing time needed to securely clamp and remove the mounting apparatus with the clamping surface. The release mechanism may include a dowel release having a hole through which the jaw stud is situated. The hole has two curved surfaces so that one of jaws may be moved without turning the jaw stud when the dowel release is depressed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a ball holder designed to hold and display a single ball. The holder has a configuration of an arm/spine/arm, whereby each of the two arms have cut outs and project from the rear spine. This configuration enables the ball holder to hold a ball in the cut outs in a manner in which the arms of the ball holder exert pressure on the ball and the ball exerts pressure on the arms. The holder may be mounted on a vertical surface or set upright on a horizontal surface.
