Abstract: A locking bracket for securing virtually any commercial grade hand truck to the cargo bed of a delivery truck or any other surface for safety and security. The locking bracket generally comprises a flat mounting plate, a kick-lever pivotally attached to the mounting plate for kick-release, and a push rod attached to the other end of the lever. The push rod extends to a clamping mechanism including two upwardly protruding spaced blocks housing opposed laterally-closing clamping teeth. In operation, a hand truck is locked in place overtop in a standing position with the center strut of its nose plate clamped between the teeth. Urging the lever forward with one's foot drives the push rod which opens the clamping teeth for quick-kick release of the hand truck.

Abstract: A retainer device for securing a displayed electronic device with a hinged member and a base portion to a support includes a grooved track secured to the support. First and second retainers are positionable in the track to define a space for the electronic device and include shoulder portions for engaging the grooved track and apertures for receiving elongated fasteners. First and second sets of spacers having complementary recesses and protrusions and through-holes for receiving the elongated fasteners are disposed over the retainers. A slotted member, through which the hinged member of the electronic device can be inserted, is supported by the first and second sets of spacers. Elongated fasteners are insertable through the slotted member and the sets of spacers and are engagable with the retainers for securing the electronic device to the support. A front grip secures a front of the base portion of the electronic device to the support.

Abstract: A versatile hanger or bracket that is removably attached to a fixed horizontal beam of a wide variety of structures in order to hold or support a number of decorative and functional objects to the beam by combining the force of gravity against the fixed horizontal beam. The hanger or bracket is easily and quickly installed and removed from the beam without damaging, modifying or leaving physical remnants of the installation in the structure or surface of the beam.

Abstract: An eyeglass holder is described in which a pair of elastomeric elements are formed on a base member, the elastomeric elements being configured to provide a target opening, a neck region narrower than the target opening, and a holding region sized to receive the eyeglasses and prevent movement thereof. The elastomeric elements are resilient and when pressed apart will return to their original positions and orientations. The eyeglasses are placed into the target region and then used to urge the elastomeric elements apart at the neck region and then held securely within the holding region. The neck region also functions to prevent vertical movement of the eyeglasses. The eyeglass holder is secured to a support surface using adhesive, hook and loop fasteners, or other fastening means.

Abstract: A glass holder, used when a window glass is attached to a connection portion, includes a first supporting plate portion; a second supporting plate portion; and a hinge portion disposed between the first and second supporting plate portions so that the first and second supporting plate portions face each other. Through-bores are disposed at the first and second supporting plate portions. A temporary locking device projects from one of the two supporting plate portions to be able to lock with the window glass by being inserted into the mounting bore in a non-clamped condition where the supporting plate portions open through the hinge portion.

Abstract: An improved pony bottle bracket that is light weight, compact, simple to use, and facilitates a quick and easy set-up is disclosed. A push button latch enables a diver to quickly disconnect the pony bottle from the main bottle. The pony tank bracket and base unit bracket are mounted by use of a belt and adjustable band straps. The locking mechanism is self-contained, thereby eliminating or minimizing the use of separate components (e.g., no clevis, hitch, cotter or quick release pins) which may be lost. The bracket also eliminates or reduces the use of any items which may entangle the diver or entangle other objects in the diver's surroundings (e.g., no string, cord, chain or lanyards). The bracket is bidirectional (e.g., reversible) such that the top bracket mount may be rotated between about 0 and 180 degrees.

Abstract: This invention's suspensory fastener for piping is characterized in that the fastener is arranged from the two members of a long band and short band, a coupled state maintaining means, which maintains a state wherein a bolt of a bolt-and-nut set that is provided at a lower end coupling portion of the above-mentioned long band is engaged with an opening with guiding entrance of lower end coupling portion of the above-mentioned short band and the two lower end coupling portions are overlapped with each other, is provided, and coupling and releasing of the coupling of the lower end coupling portion of the above-mentioned long band with the fastener coupling portion of the above-mentioned short band are enabled without separation of the bolt-and-nut set provided at the lower end coupling portion of the above-mentioned long band.

Abstract: A device to support one or more articles with a pole, where the device may include a collar having a first section and a second section that are coupled by a hinge to allow the collar to open. The collar may be openable at opposite facing ends of the first and second sections to receive the pole, and closeable around the received pole. The device may also include a clasp to lock the collar in a closed position on the pole. The clasp may include a fastening hook and a tensioning member coupled by a clasp pin. The fastening hook has a hooked end that can be received by a lip on the first section of the collar and held on the lip by articulating the tensioning member to the closed position.

Abstract: A system for suspending a free-hanging shade material in an architectural opening includes a panel of shade material and brackets that can be mounted to the top edge of the framework around the architectural opening even when the top edge is not straight or horizontally disposed. The top edge of the panel has reinforcement strips operatively connected thereto which are releasably connected to the brackets. The system is useful in conventional rectangular architectural openings or openings of unusual shapes and sizes such as semi-circular or having an inclined top edge.

Abstract: A beverage container holder for a vehicle includes a housing defining a space for storing a beverage container and at least one slidable container supporter. The housing further defines a horizontal direction, and the at least one slidable beverage container supporter has a first end and a second end for securing the beverage container in the housing. The beverage container may further include a guiding mechanism for guiding the slidable beverage container supporter to move within the housing, and a fixing mechanism for fixing the slidable beverage container supporter in a desired place with respect to the housing.

Abstract: A medical accessory clamping system includes a table and an accessory clamp. The table has an upper surface and a lower surface, a first ridge positioned on the upper surface and a second ridge positioned on the lower surface of the table. The accessory clamp has a first clamping member and a second clamping member coupled to but separate from the first clamping member wherein the clamping members define a cavity for receiving a portion of the table. The first and second clamping members have recesses for receiving said first and second ridges of the table, respectively. A uniquely styled clamp and a table are also disclosed.

The biasing member is capable of urging at least a portion of the first arm and at least a portion of the second arm toward each other.

Abstract: A mount for an appliance such as a TV monitor which includes a box-like frame having a catch part at the top of the frame. A swivel part which may be attached to either the ceiling or the wall is provided. The catch part has a slot into which the swivel part is fitted, thus engaging the catch part to support the frame and the appliance. The disclosed support provides for ease of assembly as the appliance is supported from the ceiling or wall by the mere placement of said swivel in the catch part, without requiring any other assembly. The appliance may be tilted or rotated in the support.

Abstract: Mounting system for mounting an adjustable arm for a peripheral device. The system includes a set of components which may be configured to create a clamp mount, a wall mount, a reverse wall mount, or table or flat mount, a panel mount and a slat mount. The components include a shaft holder for receiving the shaft of the arm apparatus and a pair of L-shaped brackets. One of the brackets includes a pair of extending pins which are received within openings within the other flange when assembling the components.

Elastic first and second pressing elements are disposed respectively within the first and second butt housings, and are adapted to clamp the article therebetween.

Abstract: An assembly for attaching gauges or other accessories to vehicles provides a base member for securing the assembly to a vehicle surface and a clamp arrangement secured to the base member for superior versatility and customization. The clamp arrangement includes a substantially spherical ball member and a ball clamp, which grips the ball member and allows for the fixed positioning of a gauge frame member to the inner or outer edges of the ball clamp. A tachometer, gauge or other accessory can be secured within the gauge frame member. The ball clamp may be adjusted about the ball member and the gauge frame member can be fixed in different positions to achieve a desired positioning of the gauge. The gauge frame member can be one of a number of designs, including single or double split clamps.

Abstract: A suspension device for a tool handle has a body (10) with a U-shaped recess (13), and an elastic bracket (20) mounted on the body (10) at two ends in front of the U-shaped recess (13). When the tool handle presses the elastic bracket (20) and the tool handle into the U-shaped recess (13), the tool handle is clamped by the deformed elastic bracket (20) within the U-shaped recess (13). Thereby, the tool handle is directly mounted in the suspension device by simple pressing. Additionally, the body (10) can be detachably mounted on a track assembly to adjust the position of the suspension device and the tool handle.

Abstract: A mechanical bracket is provided for providing enhanced quick release for attaching and detaching of a tank such as a air tank with respect thereto usually by emergency workers such as firemen and the like. The tank includes a secure clamping mechanism for firmly and fixedly and yet detachably securing a tank preferably vertically relative to a wall wherein two driveshafts are rotatable between a closed position holding the tank and an open position releasing the tank. A uniquely designed guide boss configuration is fixedly secured to the frame immediately behind each driveshaft to prevent lateral flexing thereof which normally occurs when a tank is firmly clamped therebetween. Each guide boss preferably includes at least one profile guide surface partially encircling the adjacent driveshaft to minimize flexing thereof and is spaced therefrom at approximately five to ten thousandths of an inch for controlling such flexing.

Abstract: A clamping device for stainless steel sinks having rolled rim edges used for suspension of weighted items from the sink's rolled rim edge for better organization around the sink work area, comprising a facial plate having a front and a crispate top connecting the front to a back. The front has a pair of slots disposed substantially near the bottom on opposite sides and extend upward vertically there from. Inserted between the front and back is a compression gib. The compression gib has a pair of grooves which align with the slots in the facial plate. A supporting member having two arms connected at one end by a cross member and opposite thereto a pair of threaded ends fays the device together and to the sink. The vertical slots in the front facial plate and the grooves in the compression gib align to receive the threaded ends. Fastening means and washers are affixed onto the threaded ends of the supporting member.

Abstract: A wall-mountable holder (1) for retaining an article such as a bicycle. The holder (1) comprises a support frame (2) having a wall-mounting bracket (6), and a pair of jaws (3, 4) pivotally mounted to the support frame (2) to define an article-receiving region between the jaws (3, 4). The jaws (3, 4) are moveable between an open position and a closed position, and the jaws (3, 4) can releasably lock to the support frame (2) when in the closed position. When a bicycle wheel is urged against proximal ends of the jaws (3, 4), the jaws (3, 4) pivot to the closed position, the jaws (3, 4) lock to the support frame (2) and the jaws (3, 4) retain the wheel. When the wheel is pulled away from the proximal ends, the jaws (3, 4) pivot to the open position and enable the wheel to be removed.

Abstract: A portable fishing rod holder for use in securing a fishing rod to a vehicle or other ferrometallic surface by means of a generally rectangular elongated portion having a pair of downwardly extending legs in perpendicular relation thereto, each leg being provided with a magnet inserted therein in countersunk relation, whereby a fishing rod may be captured and held within the confines of the fishing rod holder when said fishing rod holder is employed in conjunction with a ferrometallic surface, the fishing rod being held in an upright position with its base resting on the ground or suspended from a guide eye, and the fishing rod holder being further provided with a protuberance having an opening therein through which a key ring or similar device may be threaded, said fishing rod holder being of sufficiently small size to be carried on a key ring, fisherman's vest, or in a pocket.

Abstract: A bracket that is adapted to attach to a deck rail and hold an umbrella with a long pole similar to the umbrellas that come in patio sets. The bracket is a piece of material with an opening at one end. Within the opening on the bottom of the piece of material, a ring is placed which is adjustable and adapted to tighten against the umbrella's pole. On the other end of the bracket on its bottom side, two L shaped brackets are placed. These two L shaped brackets are spaced a distance equal to the width of a deck rail. On both L shaped brackets, a slot is placed for a belt. The belt contains a buckle that enables the belt to be tightened. To use the bracket one places the deck rail between the two L shaped brackets and then tightens the belt against the deck rail to hold the bracket in place. Then one places the umbrella through the opening and tightens the adjustable ring against the umbrella's pole to hold the umbrella in place.

Abstract: A tank holding assembly for releasably securing a tank therewithin which is attachable to a hollow seat back to facilitate rapid tank donning when seated. A housing is included with a tank receiving recess positionable in the hollow seat back area. The housing is preferably made of a flexibly resilient plastic material for protection of the tank but includes a retaining bracket, preferably of metal, secured to the rear portion for strengthening and securement to a seat back. A restraining strap extends through openings defined in the housing and the retaining bracket and around the tank for firm securement thereof. A releasable clasping device can be included for selectively holding the restraining strap extending about the tank. A release lanyard can be included for facilitating speedy disengaging of the clasping device. A magnetic device is designed for holding the clasp in the opened position.

The clamp has a pair of deformable branches defining a through hole having a cylindrical inner surface; a slit between the elastically deformable branches; and a tightening screw that draws up the two facing surfaces and reduces the diameter of the cylindrical inner surface.

The holder includes a holding section for mounting object and an anchoring section for mounting the holder onto the fastener, the anchoring section including a cylindrical recessed portion having a circular opening, a bottom and a first inward circumferential surface adapted to engage an outward circumferential surface of the fastener, and an opening in the bottom surface comprising a second inward circumferential surface adapted to engage a second outward circumferential surface on the fastener.

Abstract: A holding device and includes an attachment base, configured to be attached to a support structure, and a generally U-shaped holding member coupled to the attachment base. The U-shaped holding member can have two upright arms which collectively define a containment area therebetween to receive and hold an elongate object. A plurality of resilient gripping teeth are also provided which project from at least one of the upright arms into the containment area. Each of the plurality of resilient teeth has an upper surface area facing generally upwardly and a lower surface area facing generally downwardly, with the upper surface area being greater than the lower surface area. The gripping teeth are configured to at least partially deflect upon insertion of the elongate object into the holding member to releasably secure the elongate object within the containment area.

Abstract: A positioning device for a microphone includes a mounting plate having a connecting plate section mounted detachably and securely on a horizontal mounting portion of a clamp unit, and a holding plate section that extends outwardly from the connecting plate section, that is formed with an elongated slot extending along the length of the holding plate section, and that is connected to the microphone at one side of the elongated slot. An adjuster bolt is disposed at the other side of the elongated slot, extends through the elongated slot, and threadedly engages a base of the microphone so as to permit adjustment of the position of the microphone relative to the clamp unit along the elongated slot.

Abstract: A positioning device for a microphone includes a mounting plate having a connecting plate section mounted detachably and securely on a horizontal mounting portion of a clamp unit, and a holding plate section that extends outwardly from the connecting plate section, that is formed with an elongated slot extending along the length of the holding plate section, and that is connected to the microphone at one side of the elongated slot. An adjuster bolt is disposed at the other side of the elongated slot, extends through the elongated slot, and threadedly engages a base of the microphone so as to permit adjustment of the position of the microphone relative to the clamp unit along the elongated slot.

Abstract: A tissue case holder is provided which is simple in structure and on which a tissue case can be easily and rigidly set. A pair of hooks having tip portions having different lengths from each other are provided on the plate to be mounted on a wall surface or the like. The long tip portion has its back face inclined toward the plate. The short tip portion having its back face inclined away from said plate. By inserting the tip portions of the hooks into holes formed at both ends of a tissue case, and sliding the tissue case toward the proximal end of the short tip portion, due to the inclination of the tip portions, the tissue case is brought into close contact with the plate and is held stably.

The at least one coil spring (35) can electrically couple the at least one transducer (53, 54) to the telecommunication device (12).

Abstract: A paper attachment device in accordance with the present invention is composed of a cap (10), a cup (20), a driving plate (30) and a magnet (40) axially combined in sequence. The cap (10) has a stud movably penetrating through the cup (20) and the driving plate (30) and firmly secured with the magnet (40). The driving plate (30) has multiple resilient arms (30) pressing the cup (20) toward the cap (10), whereby paper can be held between the cup (20) and the cap (10) to make the paper attachment device versatile in usage.

Abstract: A mount assembly (20) for a lamp has a glass stem (22) having a first portion (24) that is tubular and has an outside diameter D2 and a second portion (26) formed as a pinch seal with at least one dimension greater than D2. A substantial C-shaped clip (10) is mounted upon the first portion (24). The C-shaped clip (10) has a given height H and an inside diameter D that is smaller than the outside diameter D2 whereby the clip (10) frictionally engages the first portion (24). A pair of substantially oppositely located cutouts (12, 14) is formed in the clip (10), each providing an extending flap (16, 18) projecting away from the clip (10). The clip is positioned on the first portion (24) such that at least a part of said second portion (26) is contained within the cutouts (12, 14). A first frame member (28) is affixed to the flap (16) and a second frame member (28) is affixed to the flap (18). This assembly accurate supports the structure and prevents rotation of the mount assembly.

Abstract: A textile hanging system for receiving and displaying a flexible textile sheet in a vertical manner. The textile hanging system includes a first support member pivotally attached to a second support member, a first engaging member and a second engaging member attached to the first support member and the second support member respectively, a first member and a second member attached to a distal end of the first support member and the second support member respectively, and a pair of end members having a receiving slot that selectively engage the first member and the second member for retaining the support members juxtaposed to one another. The textile sheet is positioned between the support members and the support members are compressed against the textile sheet by the end members being positioned about the first member and the second member.

The device is removably attachable to both the box and the supporting structure. Two laterally projecting arms grip the box while a clip attaches to the structure. The arms may comprise hooks, points or other features designed to enhance their grip on a paperboard, or similar, box. These features may optionally penetrate, crimp, or depress the side of the container. If desired, one or both of the arms may be adjustable to accommodate a range of box widths and/or depths.

Abstract: A valve assembly for use in an air brake system is provided. The assembly includes a modulator housing, a valve assembly, and a clamp for holding the valve assembly in an operative position on the modulator housing. One leg of the clamp is fit over retaining bosses on the housing. Another leg of the clamp is bent or advanced toward a retainer that cooperates with a retaining opening on the leg to maintain the clamp in a tensioned state and secure the valve assembly to the modulator housing.
