Abstract: The invention discloses a drinking vessel comprising a beverage container and a spillage receptacle, the latter having an opening which excessively encompasses the vertical projection of the widest outer periphery of the beverage container. The spillage receptacle further comprises an annulated top surface designed to maintain the spillage in the spillage receptacle while the drinking vessel is tilted. The invention also provides a drinking vessel comprising a beverage container, a spillage receptacle which encompasses the vertical projection of the widest outer periphery of the beverage container, and an annulated draining surface (e.g. a funnel) wherein the top end of the spillage receptacle has a wider diameter than a lower holding portion of the drinking vessel, thus protecting the hand of the holder from spillage.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a novel design for an apparatus for protecting a floor, the apparatus comprising a plastic plate, a cushioning element, and a sliding element. Both the cushioning elements and sliding elements can be detachably coupled to opposing sides of the plastic plate via adhesive layers. The apparatus can thus take different forms for either sliding or resting furniture legs and casters over both carpeted floors and hard floors. The plastic plate is shaped with a raised lip so as to prevent contact with the floor even when the deformable sliding and cushioning elements are crushed by the heavy weight of furniture. The raised lip is formed so as to form a retaining wall about the concave receiving area where furniture legs may be placed when it is used as a caster. Also provided herein is a kit comprising multiple plastic plates, cushioning elements, and sliding elements, which a user can combine as they see fit for different functions.

The cupholder adapter includes a cylindrical cupholder having a hollow internal volume, a collar attached to a top portion of the cylindrical cupholder, wherein the collar includes a plurality of tabs extending perpendicularly into the hollow internal volume, and an adapter base coupled to the cylindrical cupholder, wherein the adapter base includes a plurality of legs configured to expand and retract such that the diameter of the adapter base is configured to expand from a minimum diameter to a maximum diameter. The plurality of tabs includes tabs of different lengths and widths which enables and accommodates wide, tall, and narrow beverage containers during vehicle use. The adapter base is configured to install into the recessed cupholder near the console of most vehicles.

The connector sleeve can receive a beverage container and can be attached to the anchoring base through the first attachment mechanism. With a beverage container situated within the connector sleeve, a user can attach or detach the beverage container to various surfaces or objects through the anchoring base.

The plurality of tabs includes tabs of different lengths and widths which enables and accommodates wide, tall, and narrow beverage containers during vehicle use. The adapter base is configured to install into the recessed cupholder near the console of most vehicles.

The vent port closure member is biased to move from a closed position to an open position. The closed position includes the vent port closure member being arranged to block the vent port upper end and prevent the passage of air through the vent port. The open position includes the vent port closure member being arranged to unblock the vent port upper end and allow the passage of air through the vent port.

Abstract: An object holder with quick-release anchoring capability includes an object carrier having an object carrier base. A vacuum release actuator on the object carrier base is displaceable to separate from the object. An anchor member carried by vacuum release actuator includes outer and inner seal members and an interconnecting vent port. The outer seal member is arranged to form a substantially airtight seal with the reference surface that defines an outer controlled pressure zone. The inner seal member is arranged to form a substantially airtight seal with the object that defines an inner controlled pressure zone. The vent port extends between the outer and inner controlled pressure zones. During operation, the controlled pressure zones can be vented by manipulating the object carrier away from the reference surface to separate the object and the vacuum release actuator until the inner seal member breaks its substantially airtight seal with the object.

The absorbent pad for brewing devices comprises an absorbent pad, shaped in the form of a daisy, for use in single-cup brewing devices. The device may be used in the coffee cup catch tray of single-cup brewing systems to absorb spills and drips associated with pouring and brewing coffee. The device eliminates the need of frequently washing the catch tray located under the cup rest. One version of the device may be manufactured using biodegradable, recyclable, disposable material. Current dimensions of the device are approximately 2? in diameter but may be manufactured in different sizes depending on intended use. The device can be used in private or commercial settings. The absorbent pad catches the remaining drops of coffee after a cup is made and further prevents the catch tray form getting messy.

Abstract: This is a drink coaster which incorporates a mechanical means to expel condensation collected from a cold drink that is supported by the coaster. This coaster compromises an injection molded non fragile plastic top surface with a plurality of drain holes, a highly porous insert in the middle and a base recessed for the insert and extra condensation that may be collected from the beverages. The base snaps into the top surface which allows this coaster to be disassembled for easy cleaning or for the insert to be replaced. This disassembly of the coaster allows a more effective way of cleaning the coaster thoroughly to prevent mold or musty odors with its use. The mechanical portion of the coaster allows pushing upwards from the bottom of coaster which contacts the insert to expel excess condensation out thru the drain holes at the top of the coaster.

In this way, the rust-preventing support prevents exposure of the bottom of the metal can to liquid pooled on a surface. The base further includes a holding structure that can be removably attached to a tube disposed on the outer surface of the flange. The holding structure has an elongated post with a loop at an upper end that is suited for storage of a razor or similar item therein. Overall, the present invention provides a device that prevents a metal can from developing rust on its bottom surface.

Abstract: In a further embodiment, a method of controlling a base assembly can be provided. An actuation member can be pumped to deploy one or more wheels to lift a base assembly on said wheels. Further, a pin can be received in a holding portion on a semi-planar contoured surface in response to the pumping of the actuation member. Further pumping of the actuation member can separate the pin from the holding portion and retract the wheels from the deployed position.

A similarly configured top portion is provided to form a lower chamber. The base of the top portion has a plurality of apertures. A hinge couples the top and bottom portions. In this operative closed orientation the top portion is overlying the bottom portion. In the inoperative open orientation the top and bottom portions are positioned laterally with the hinge there between. An absorbent sheet of mold free filter material is positioned in the lower chamber. The sheet of mold free filter material is adapted to collect moisture from a sweating beverage container on the base of the top portion.

In the alternate preferred embodiment, the balance mass further includes a tip lip portion with a condensate retention ridge, and a condensate aperture. The condensate retention ridge, in cooperation with a side portion of the balance mass, forms a condensate channel, and the condensate aperture drains condensate from the condensate channel.

Abstract: A beverage coaster that attaches itself to a beverage of choice, (glass, can, or bottle) enabling the coaster to be mobile while keeping the condensation from communicating with furniture, clothing, and tabletop items. The beverage coaster consists of an inner and outer layer such as 100% cotton. The two layers are cut in a circular shape and connected together in way that enables it to properly wrap the beverage of choice. In between the inner and outer layers elastic, a flexible and adjustable apparatus, is attached around the outer perimeters of the material. The elastic allows the beverage coaster to become attachable and adjustable. When the elastic is stretched, the coaster opens, welcoming the beverage. Once the beverage communicates with the bottom of the coaster, the elastic is released, adjusting itself to the size of the outer perimeters of the beverage container.
