Abstract: A container for suspending various small articles such as toiletries, poisons, spices, and plants from an overhead support at a plurality of elevations is provided. A releasably locking member for one-handed height adjustment of the container is further provided, as well as automatic retracting means for returning the container to a convenient storage position.

Abstract: A table has upper and lower sections with the lower section provided with legs having vertically spaced holders and the upper sections having supports engageable therewith. The two sections are interconnected to enable the upper section to be turned in one direction to effect engagement with a selected set of holders and in the opposite direction to effect their release therefrom and the connection between the sections also enables the upper section then to be moved vertically to an extent such that the supports may be seated on another set of holders.

Abstract: An improved seat, including a support member having a plurality of legs extending rigidly outwardly therefrom. An upright tubular inner column is affixed to said support member and is telescopically engaged by an upright tubular outer column whose top carries a device for supporting a person. A vertically pivotable footrest is carried by the ends of a pivot shaft which is, in turn, carried by the outer column. In one embodiment a locking pin, carried by the footrest, is selectively engageable with any one of a plurality of vertically arranged locking holes located in the inner column. In another embodiment, the locking pin, carried by the pivot, is located within the inner column, and selectively engages one pair of a plurality of pairs of vertically arranged locking slots in the inner column. In both embodiments, the height of the seat is adjusted by pivotably lifting the footrest to selectively engage and disengage the locking pin and its associated locking hole or locking slots.

Abstract: A preschool knock-down portable indoor basketball set comprising a sponge-rubber ball and a weighted vertically adjustable stand for a basket with a removable bounce-board.The weighted base of the stand has an annular socket for one end of a pair of telescopic tubes, adjustable in length by a pin through diametric holes in the tubes. The upper end of the inner telescopic tube has a cap and net ring member, which cap has an annular reinforced socket for the upper tube end, which ring has hidden hooks for suspending a frusto-conical string basket, and intermediate of the cap and ring, has a wedging slot in a vertical plane into which a trapezoidal notch on the lower edge of a bounce-board removably fits.

Abstract: Hedge trimming apparatus including a substantially horizontal platform pivotable along one edge of a base to level the apparatus relative to a hedge to be trimmed. Wheels and a handle are connected to the base to form a movable carriage for the apparatus. A vertically adjustable column on the platform and a horizontally adjustable shaft mounted on the column are provided to mount a bracket for retaining an electric hedge trimmer on the apparatus, whose position can be adjusted relative to the hedge by adjusting the position of the column and shaft, once the platform is levelled.

Abstract: A seat supporting assembly for use in vehicles such as tractors or the like wherein the seat is surrounded in relatively close relationship by obstructions such as controls which make it difficult for the vehicle operator to get into and out of the seat. The seat supporting assembly provides means for supporting the vehicle seat such that the seat may be moved rearwardly and then rotated to permit access to or egress from the seat. The assembly also provides means which prevent rotation of the seat unless it has been moved to its furthest rearward position. The seat supporting assembly further includes means to facilitate vertical adjustment of the seat and to secure the seat in its desired vertical position.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming glass containers wherein the glass is expanded to its final shape in a blow mold. A blowhead is brought onto vertical registry with the blow mold cavity. In the conventional Hartford I.S. forming machine, the mechanism for moving the blowhead onto and out of registry with the blow mold is pneumatically operated. The blowhead and the arm that supports the blowhead or blowheads is of considerable mass, and when an operator is required to change blow molds, or in some instances repair mechanisms which are at the blow mold location, it is necessary to maintain the blowhead in its up position. Air lockout systems have been used in the past but have not been foolproof. Accidents may occur. The present invention utilizes a mechanical lockout arrangement which locks the piston rod in its elevated position to avoid any possibility of the blowhead dropping.

Abstract: A detachable connection in which one of two members has an end telescopically receivable within a mating end of another member and carries a locking part threadedly adjustable transversely of the members into and out of locking reception within an enlarged portion of a slot formed in a sidewall of the outer of the two telescopically interfitting elements. The connection may be utilized for detachably securing different camera stands to a quick change adapter tube secured to the body of a camera.
