  • Patent number: 4512543
Abstract: A universal printer stand includes a platform having at least two parallel support members, at least two channel-shaped cross members transversely disposed on the support members and means disposed on the cross members for receiving the support legs of a printer. Means are provided for adjusting the receiving means to accommodate the lateral and longitudinal distances between the printer support legs. The receiving means includes a plurality of longitudinal slots in the cross members and cup-shaped members adjustably disposed in the slots. The cup-shaped members are adapted to receive the feet disposed on the legs of the printer, if the printer is so equipped. Alternatively, if the printer legs are in the form of threaded bolts, the bolts may be inserted through any of the longitudinal slots in the cross members so that the printer can be secured to the stand by nuts threaded onto the bolts.

  • Patent number: 4458874
Abstract: A merchandise display rack as disclosed of the type for supporting merchandise and for securing the merchandise against removal. The display rack includes a base including an upwardly and rearwardly sloping display deck, the deck including at least one groove having opposed sidewalls and a bottom wall. Also included are a pair of bracket members disposed in opposed spaced relation and adapted to clampingly engage a display item therebetween, the pair of bracket members including a first bracket member having a first portion adapted to be housed in the groove and a merchandise item engaging portion, and a second bracket member including a slide portion housed in the groove for selective movement in the groove toward and away from the first bracket member and a merchandise item engaging portion, the second bracket being adjustably slideably movable into clamping engagement with the merchandise item, the second bracket member being movable to accommodate products of various sizes and shapes.

  • Patent number: 4371299
Abstract: A transporter or trailer for endwise transport of combine headers and the like, consists of a standard four-wheel wagon running gear carrying an elongated generally rectangular frame providing support surfaces compatible with a variety of sizes and types of header. A pair of longitudinally spaced fixed pockets at the left-hand side of the adapter frame receives heel portions adjacent the rear of headers of the corn head or row-crop head type while a somewhat elevated, swingably adjusted, rail may be set to an appropriate contact and support forward portions of a particular header. In alternative embodiments, an auxiliary laterally adjustable rail may support a second front portion of a header, or additional support "cradles" may be attached along the left-hand side of the frame to accommodate headers with elongated transverse beam members such as grain platforms.

  • Patent number: 4332366
Abstract: An adjustable quadrangular base, such as for a framework assembling machine, including a group of four elongated rigid elements each having a rigid boxlike member fixed to one end thereof. The boxlike members all have a substantially planar upper surface thereon, which surfaces are all coplanar. An opening extends through each boxlike member parallel to the respective upper surface and perpendicular to the respective elongated element. Each elongated element slidably extends through the opening formed in the boxlike member fixed to one of the remaining elements, whereby two of the elongated elements define a parallel pair which extends in perpendicular relationship to a parallel pair defined by the remaining two elements. The elements can be relatively slidably displaced with respect to the other elements due to the slidable engagement between each element and one of the boxlike members, whereby the size of the square defined by the upper surfaces of the four boxlike members can be enlarged or contracted.

  • Patent number: 4323217
Abstract: An assembly includes a band which is adapted to encircle and tightly clamp motor housings of different sizes, and mounting arms located on the band extend radially outwardly. The arms are adapted for connection to a mounting surface and provide isolation of torsional motor vibrations. Each arm includes a slot to receive the band, and an end clamped between the band and motor housing. The band has openings that receive and locate tabs on the arm ends. A band extension enables enlargement of the band to accommodate a larger motor. The band openings are arranged in sets to permit predetermined angular spacing of the arms for different band circumferences. Thus, depending on the dimensions of the arms, a single band and arm kit may be used to mount motors of two different diameters in a given blower installation with proper angular alignment of the mounting arms and blower housing bolt holes.

  • Patent number: 4220308
Abstract: The invention relates to a console for connecting a vehicle seat with attachment points provided on a floor of a vehicle. The invention is characterized by two substantially identical cross supports which are screwed together at their two side surfaces with respective side supports at selectable locations. Each side support has a mounting point for the vehicle seat. The two substantially identical cross supports are provided, at least in the area of two longitudinal end sections, with two spaced-apart adjacent rows of holes extending in the longitudinal direction of the two substantially identical cross supports. The holes can be selected by pairs for the protrusion of connecting elements so that two connecting straps for each of the two substantially identical cross supports, which straps can be attached at the attachment points on the floor of the vehicle, can be connected to their respective substantially identical cross supports in variable positions.
