Abstract: In an aspect, the invention features a method for inserting a disk drive into peripheral bay chassis. A disk drive is received into a base of a disk drive carrier, the base having an uppermost surface and being rotatably attached to a latching mechanism. A lever can rotate between an open position and a closed position, the lever having comprising a lower engagement point and an upper engagement point. The carrier is inserted into a peripheral bay chassis slot while the lever is in an open position. The carrier is secured to the peripheral bay chassis by rotating the lever to the closed position to extend the upper engagement point beyond the uppermost surface of the base and engage the peripheral bay chassis with and to extend the lower engagement point to engage the peripheral bay chassis.

Abstract: A drive bracket fastening structure includes first and second drive brackets (30, 70) and a connect panel (60). The first drive bracket includes a bottom plate (32). A pair of arcuate first slide rails (40) depends from the bottom plate. A first flange (42) depends from the bottom plate near a side thereof. A pair of through holes (44) is defined in the first flange. The connect panel is secured to the second drive bracket. The connect panel upwardly forms a pair of arcuate second slide rails (62). A second flange (64) extends upwardly from a side edge of the connect panel. A pair of screw holes is defined in the second flange. The second slide rails are slidably engaged with the first slide rails. The screw holes are aligned with the through holes for insertion of fasteners therein. The second drive bracket is thereby fastened to the first drive bracket.

Abstract: An antislip pad is designed for protectively mounting onto an end of a changeover switch that is used to change over computer peripherals to be connected to a main unit of the computer. The pad is made of a material providing good softness. When a changeover switch has two antislip pads mounted onto two ends thereof, a bottom surface of the switch is not in direct contact with a surface on which the switch is positioned, protecting the switch from easily slipping over or dropping from the surface. The antislip pad is provided at upper and lower end surfaces with corresponding recesses and projections, respectively, so that two or more antislip pads could be stacked with the projections of an upper pad fitly engaging with the recesses of a lower pad to prevent the stacked pads from slipping relative to each other.
