Swinging Clamp Patents (Class 248/86)
  • Patent number: 11091363
Abstract: A hands-free device for use in filling tanks for storing liquids, particularly water tanks on recreational or commercial vehicles having either threaded or flange style collars. The device's spring clamp can be operatively moved between the open and closed positions to secure the clamp to the collar of the storage tank during use. The filler hose is then snapped into position within the body of the device which prevents inadvertent displacement.

  • Patent number: 5747074
Abstract: Apparatus for the manufacturing of prestressed reinforced concrete railroad ties and the like in which the apparatus consists of an elongated spine or compression member which has no foundation but rather is independent of the supporting surface upon which it rests. In one version of the apparatus two bridge members confront the opposite ends of the spine and permanent tension resisting members pass beneath the spine from end to end of the spine and are attached to the lower ends of the bridge members. In another version two structural members are embedded in the concrete of the spine and protrude to provide terminal members.

  • Patent number: 4058259
Abstract: A remote control handle for use with a pressure sprayer cannister for mixing a concentrated spray solution with an external liquid under pressure. The handle comprises an elongated rigid tube of about an arm's length which is connected at one end to a garden hose and at the other end to the cannister. A normally closed valve on the handle adjacent the garden hose connection is used for regulation of the flow of liquid to the cannister. A rinse hose which is normally closed is provided for rinsing the hands of the user. A specially constructed pivotable stand is connected adjacent the cannister connection end and is adapted to support the unit on the ground for unattended spraying use. A stop is provided to limit the stand's position. The stand is specially constructed of two rod-like members and a spring so that it can be fastened in collapsed position to the tubular member.
