  • Patent number: 9145154
Abstract: A folding wagon having a basket within which to carry articles and/or small children and a collapsible frame to enable the wagon to be folded between an expanded open configuration at which the basket is outstretched and a compact closed configuration at which the basket is collapsed. The wagon also has pairs of front and rear wheels that are spaced outwardly from the front and rear of the wagon so as to lie ahead of and behind the basket. A handle is connected to the top of the basket at the front of the wagon. When the wagon is folded to its compact closed configuration, the pairs of front and rear wheels are positioned in axial alignment to facilitate transport and/or storage. With the wagon folded, the axially-aligned pairs of wheels and the handle form a stand for supporting the wagon in an upright position.

  • Patent number: 7097117
Abstract: A sprinkler assembly comprising in combination a sprinkler mounting stake and a sprinkler comprising. The sprinkler comprises a sprinkler body formed with a support member receptacle and locking portion. The sprinkler mounting stake comprises a ground insertion portion and a sprinkler support portion. The sprinkler support portion comprises a lateral support member extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the stake and retention member. The support member is insertable within the support member receptacle and a retention member prevents unintentional disengagement of the sprinkler body from the mounting stake.

  • Patent number: 6341756
Abstract: A holder for a fishing pole includes a relatively moveable ground engaging member for pivotal attachment to the end of the fishing pole handle and can be selectively moved from an unextended storage position to an extended working position, the ground engaging member having a generally arcuate cross-section and tapering in both length and height and having an arcuate distal end for insertion into the ground to maintain a fishing pole at a desired operating position without the need for a user to physically hold the fishing pole. The fishing pole holder can be permanently attached to the fishing rod handle so that the holding feature is always available for use.

  • Patent number: 4319425
Abstract: A toy that makes use of conventional garden hose or similar flexible tubing to form a rolling track for marbles. The toy includes a number of supports that function to hold the hoses in longitudinal contact at desired height and angular relationships to the supporting surface, thereby defining the course along which a marble will roll. Height may be adjusted by adding or removing lengths of upright supports. Angular "banking" of the track is accomplished by angular positioning clamp members that mount the track to the supports.

  • Patent number: 4249529
Abstract: An endotracheal tube holder has a body which is secured by a pair of non-stretchable, head encircling straps to overlie the patient's mouth and portions of the cheeks. The straps, which are adapted to extend, one above and the other below, the patient's ears, have one-way tightening adjustability by pawl action. The body is integrally molded to incorporate a quick-acting clamp having three integral hinges, one hinge pivotally connecting a pair of jaws of the clamp and the other two hinges supporting the jaws from resilient arms for snap-action between open and closed positions. The clamp is operative to secure or release the endotracheal tube while the straps retain the body in position on the mouth against dislodgment.

  • Patent number: 4135668
Abstract: A support assembly for a flat soaker hose comprising a spike insertable into the ground, said spike including mounting provisions at the top end thereof for receiving a clamp assembly at various angular dispositions. The clamp assembly is conformed to provide a plurality of cantilevered fingers disposed in staggered opposing alignment, the interior separation between fingers being dimensioned to provide a clamping fit about the soaker hose. One exterior surface of said clamp is furthermore joined to a mounting structure variously conformed for attachment to the upper end of said spike at various angular alignment. In a first embodiment the upper end of the spike is provided with a planar or rectangular cavity extending vertically downward along or parallel to the axis of the spike and the support structure is conformed as a planar member having a plurality of elongate, coplanar elements extending at various angular alignments therefrom each element being conformed for receipt in said cavity.

  • Patent number: 3941342
Abstract: Adjustable soaker hose support assemblies that are driven or forced into the earth in spaced relationship adjacent an area that is to be watered. When the assemblies are so disposed a soaker hose having a number of longitudinally spaced water discharge openings therein is removably secured to the assemblies. The assemblies so support the soaker hose, that both the hose and discharge openings therein may be manually adjusted to permit a first desired area of the earth to be watered and then subsequently other areas likewise watered, upon completion of the watering operation the soaker hose is easily separated from the assemblies, and the assemblies pulled from the earth and stored with the soaker hose until again needed. The assemblies are preferably formed by conventional molding operations from a high impact polymercized resin. The assemblies are of such structure that they may be easily supported in hard packed earth by being driven therein by hammer blows applied to the tops of the assemblies.
