Abstract: A hanger assembly for hanging wash mitts, rags and the like above a bucket includes a top subassembly with a mast and spaced apart arms extending radially from the mast. A bottom subassembly includes a bucket engaging structure and a shaft, to which the mast of the top subassembly is coupled (e.g., rotatably coupled). The bucket engaging structure of the bottom subassembly may include in one embodiment a plate, a tail and a pair of legs for engaging the sidewall of the bucket, or in another embodiment a ring or disc that sits on the bottom of the bucket.

Abstract: A workholding apparatus for components having complex geometries or surfaces, which components are difficult constrain for the purpose of inspection, addresses the problem of adequately constraining such components in a convenient and cost-effective manner so that they do not move during inspection, while also making all or most critical features accessible to the inspection instruments being used. A method teaches how to eliminate setup changes between different components through the use of inexpensive modular attachments. These attachments are in the form of a single piece thermoplastic part which is affixed to each component having also reference features that can be interlocked into a common base fixture for more efficient inspection operations.

Abstract: A carriage holder for support of an apparatus includes identical upper and lower support plates having on their outer edge a number of indentations corresponding to the number of apparatus to be supported, said indentations providing aligned radial horizontal grasping surfaces on one side of said apparatus. The carriage holder also includes a series of vertical spring pivot pins joining said upper and lower support plates, adjacent to each said indentation, each such pin bearing a torsion spring loaded retractable clamp member to provide grasping surfaces in retracted position opposite to the grasping surfaces of said indentations. The carriage holder also includes an unobstructed aperture in each of said aligned support plates for mounting said carriage holder on a shaft. The carriage holder further includes a locking mechanism to hold said carriage in a fixed position on the shaft.

Abstract: A medical equipment transport system for supporting medical equipment while a patient is transported. The system comprises an equipment rack, such as an IV stand. While in the hospital room, the rack is mounted on a bracket supported on a mobile tower. When the patient is moved, the rack is transferred to a similar bracket on the bed. Transfer of the rack between bed and tower brackets is accomplished using a lift mechanism in the tower. The lift mechanism includes a bogie stabilized by radially-arranged bearings, enabling the tower to accept omni directional loading and moment forces. The rack is supported on each of the brackets by two vertically-aligned conical pins nested in tapered bushings, providing additional stability. A self-locking, self-releasing latch assembly prevents inadvertent dislocation of the rack. A customized adapter enables attachment of the bracket to any model bed without structurally altering it, simplifying installation and preserving warranties.

A thinner shelf is gripped between the arms with its front edge fitting over the step and abutting the rear surface of the label holder panel. Abstract: The disclosed multi-use clamp consists of a unitary body having an elongated pointed shank and a hook cantilevered off of the shank opposite the pointed end. The hook has first and second concavely curved portions located outwardly adjacent the shank. These curved portions having curvatures corresponding to the outside surface of two differently sized conventional conduits, and the centers of these respective curvatures are spaced from the shank a distance corresponding to the curvature itself. A commercial version of the clamp would have the curvature of the inner curved portion correspond to a 1/2" size conduit, and would have the curvature of the outer curved portion correspond to a 3/4" size conduit. The clamp can thus be used with either size conduit, being driven into and be rigidly secured to a support structure, with the hook overlying the conduit for holding it relative to the support structure.
