  • Patent number: 8891232
Abstract: A support stand suitable for a hand-held device is provided. The support stand has a first support member and a second support member. The second support member slidably fits the first support member and could be temporarily fixed at different positions on the first support member to adjust the length of the support stand. The hand-held device has a display screen and an antenna. Because the length of the support stand is variable, the hand-held device could be laid on the table by various inclination angles. Besides, the projections of the support stand and the antenna on the display screen are not overlapped, and the influence of the support stand made of metal on the signal of the antenna would be lowered.

  • Patent number: 8864092
Abstract: A television mount assembly suitable for mounting a television to a wall, especially over fireplaces and other obstacles. The mount assembly secures a television (TV) to a wall via two arms and a spring mechanism thereby allowing it to extend away from the wall while at the same time allowing the television to swivel. It includes a mechanism to straighten the television as it is positioned close to the wall. The spring mechanism is calibrated by means of a calibration screw, spring block, and locking screws. A handle enables a user to grasp the mount assembly for changing the position of the television. A temperature gauge on the handle displays ambient temperature proximate to the television to warn users if the temperature is too high for the television to safely operate. A means of setting a maximum extension prevents the television from extending beyond a point set by the user.

  • Patent number: 8830677
Abstract: The present invention is to provide an engaging structure applicable to a display device and including a housing and an inflatable element, wherein the housing serves as a protective case of the display device and is formed with at least one assembly hole, and the inflatable element is formed with at least one connecting portion, such that, when the housing is assembled into an accommodating space of the inflatable element and the inflatable element is fully inflated, the connecting portion is engaged in the corresponding assembly hole. Thus, the portions of the inflatable element that correspond in position to the accommodating space are tightly pressed against the sides of the housing other than the side where a screen is installed at the display device. Since the inflatable element is lightweight and occupies a tiny space while in a deflated state, it will effectively reduce storage space and transportation costs.
