The temperature of the puree is reduced to a semi-frozen state by passing the puree through a heat exchanger. The semi-frozen puree is then formed into food products with a pre-determined volume, shape, and weight by a molding or extrusion process. Sticks, if desired, may be inserted, and the shaped puree is then frozen to solidified cores. The solidified cores may be coated with chocolate and treated with other edible toppings and then packaged.

The mold in general comprises several valves to remove the air trapped during the molding of the tire.

    Abstract: A mold assembly and method of forming a surgical implant from bone cement. The method has the steps of connecting a plurality of mold segments to approximate the size of a patient implant. Each mold segment has an open channel. The method may further include aligning the channels of connected mold segments, positioning a centralizing holder on a reinforcement member, mixing bone cement, pouring at least some bone cement through the channels and into connected mold segments, fitting the reinforcement member into the mold segments, curing the bone cement; and removing the cured surgical implant.

It is preferred that the inner portion is flat and recessed with respect to the outer rim of the first end.

An apparatus has a master backing and a stamping backing in close proximity and the stamp material drawn in through a vacuum. The stamp is separated from the master by use of a parting fluid.

    Abstract: To provide a vent piece capable of being attached to and detached from a mold easily. A vent piece body 4 and a connection sleeve 5 are connected to each other to form a cylindrical shape. The vent piece body 4 and the connection sleeve 5 are inserted in an insertion hole 3 penetrating the wall surface of a mold 2 to connect the inside of the mold 2 to the outside thereof. One end portion 9 of the vent piece body 4 is beforehand formed into a countersunk head screw shape. A cone-shaped concave portion 10 is beforehand formed around the inside opening of the insertion hole 3 in the mold 2. The countersunk head screw shaped end portion 9 is fitted in the cone-shaped concave portion 10. Thereby, the movement of a vent piece 1 to the other side is restrained. A nut 8 is threadedly mounted in the other end portion 14 of the connection sleeve 5 from the outside of the mold 2. By mounting and demounting the nut 8, the vent piece 1 can be attached to and detached from the mold 2 easily.

    Abstract: A paper making apparatus includes a mould having a mesh screen and a deckle of comparable size. The deckle includes a shaped inner edge for directing pulp onto the screen. The mould and deckle are held together and dipped in a vat having a pulp and water slurry to form a sheet of paper. The mould and deckle are constructed of materials that will not warp, crack, twist, or otherwise deform from repeated use in water. The mould also includes structural ribs to hold its shape. An alternative embodiment of the invention includes a mould having a mesh screen and structural support ribs and a deckle box having a shaped inner lip and a sealing means attached to the lip. The combination of mould and deckle box may be dipped in water and does not require the presence of a vat having a pulp stock. Pulp may be poured into the mould and deckle box assembly. The mould and deckle box are constructed of materials that will not warp, crack, twist, or otherwise deform under normal use in water.
