  • Patent number: 5492303
Abstract: Formwork for surfaces varying in curvature has a face sheet adjustable with respect to its curvature, girders supporting the face sheet and applied to the girders, in spaced relationship to the face sheet, there is a boom system which is composed of individual boom members bridging the girders and is suitably attached to the girders at the outsides thereof averted from the face sheet. Adjustment of the curvature of the face sheet is carried out by altering the effective length of the boom members between the girders. The mutually opposed formwork elements are adapted to be braced together by means of formwork anchor ties. A crosspiece in the form of a boom member is applied to a formwork element at at least two girders and simultaneously serves as an abutment for the formwork anchor tie, the latter therefore being arranged between and having its reaction forces transferred to the two girders.

  • Patent number: 5382155
Abstract: The mold that belongs to a cardboard box forming machine is comprised of four forming corners, equal to each other, assembled in such a way that they can be moved longitudinally and transversally in order to carry out the adjustment of length as well as width of the boxes to be formed. The adjustment of length is achieved as a result of the corners being assembled on bushings threaded on spindles, each one of the latter having two sections threaded in a different direction so that the rotation of the former involves contrary movement of each pair of forming corners assembled on each spindle. The adjustment of width is achieved on the grounds of movement of said forming corners along linear guides upon which corresponding bridges slide. Forming corners are also completed with means retaining the box during its formation and pressing means for gluing of the corresponding laps.

  • Patent number: 4917346
Abstract: A form for erecting structures having an plan shape, any generatrix and possibly changing wall thickness includes an inner form (1) and an outer form (2). Circumferentially closed support rings (5,6) are arranged horizontally spaced from the inner form as well as from the outer form. Radially aligned sleeves (35) are provided in the support rings (5,6). Threaded spindles (7,8) are slidably but fixedly held in the sleeves (35). One end of each threaded spindle (7,8) engages form carriers (11,12) which rest against the form carriers (3,4). The inclination of the form plates (3,4) or the wall thickness of the structure to be erected can thus be adjusted. Web members (13,14) are provided between the form plates (3,4) in circumferential direction of the form, the web members engaging over the form plate edges at the rear sides thereof. The web members have a support (15,16) on the surface facing the structure in the region between the side edges of the spaced-apart form plates (3,4).

  • Patent number: 4804320
Abstract: The invention relates to a sliding process for producing concrete structure walls and a sliding shuttering means for erecting or installing monolithic block brackets, praticularly in the case of annular structures. In order to permit a continuous installation of block brackets in the case of a favorable force transfer between the structure wall and the sliding shuttering, the invention provides for the integration into the sliding shuttering of shuttering forms which are substantially complimentary to the block brackets to be installed. In height regions without block brackets, the shuttering form is terminated in aligned manner on the wall side of the structure and is opened on reaching the height level of the block bracket to be installed. After providing the block bracket, on raising the sliding shuttering, the shuttering form is again closed at the top height level of the block bracket.
