Abstract: Disclosed is a formwork element (1) which can be assembled with other formwork elements (1) so as to form a formwork structure. A formwork shell (4) having an adjustable curvature is supported by means of back supports (5) so as to create a stiff formwork element (1) that sustains concreting pressure. The supports (5) have a preferably trapezoidal cross section and are provided with fastening flanges (6) on the edges thereof and at least one girder (7) that is located at a distance from the formwork shell (4). The length of the girder (7) is adjustable in order to set or modify the curvature of the formwork shell (4) which is mare of steel or plastic. Intermediate pieces (9) are disposed between the fastening flanges (6) of the supports (5) and the formwork shell (4). The fastening flanges (6) are fixed to said intermediate pieces (9) so as to be pivotable or tiltable relative thereto about the longitudinal direction thereof.

Abstract: An elongated, curved framework with a variable degree of curvature. The framework comprises plural link members, joint units connecting the link members together, and elements for bending the link members at the joints. A desired number of link members can be connected together to provide a desired length of elongated, curved framework. Inside the joint unit is located a bolt-engaging member, and the joint unit and the bolt-engaging member are joined together by a bolt. The bolt is engaged with a nut. Rotating the bolt in one direction causes the link members to bend at the joint in one direction. Rotating the bolt in an opposed direction causes the link members to bend at the joint in an opposed direction. Three pins can be used to enable the link members to withstand load well.

Abstract: The invention concerns a support with a removable support head for concrete moulding which exhibits, on its under side, an extension which engages a hollow section of the upper end of the support. The invention exhibits a spring-loaded ratchet (6, 16, 27) which is pivotably mounted on the extension (2), the ratchet engaging a stop (15) on the support to lock the mounted support head to the support.

Abstract: An adjustable brace for supporting an elevated concrete form floor between support beams during the curing of the concrete is provided. The adjustable brace is formed from a single leg pivotably attached to a cradle assembly for supporting half of a shoring member underneath a concrete form floor against the adjacent lower web/flange interface of a support beam. The height of the cradle assembly can be adjusted relative to the leg for raising and lowering the shoring member to enable leveling of the form floor and disassembly of the brace after the concrete has cured. In use, two braces are used to support a shoring member, with the cradle of each brace positioned between the center and an end of the shoring member and the foot of each brace positioned against the web/flange interface of the support beam opposite the support beam against which the foot of the other brace is positioned.

Abstract: Floor shuttering comprising a predetermined number of elongated forms having inverted U-shaped cross-section, said forms being mutually joined together along adjacent side edges and being arranged on inverted U-shaped support members, which are carried on beams extending perpendicular to the forms. Said support members being mutually interconnected by means of retaining elements extending at least in the space between opposite side-walls in the forms and the support members and further being carried by the beams, which are raisable and lowerable in a movable frame structure.

Abstract: A collapsible and reusable umbrella concrete form for casting a concrete shell roof in the form of a dome, the collapsible umbrella form comprising a central stem or column equipped with a base, a jack abutment plate for vertically adjusting the stem in respect to the base, the jack abutment plate being immediately above the base, a rib support connector at the top of the column, and a plurality of strut connectors slidably carried by the central portion of the column, each being axially displacable along the column but keyed so as to be non-rotatable in respect to the column.
