  • Patent number: 6000673
Abstract: A mold assembly and method for producing a resin based countertop having an integrally formed sink bowl and a built-up edge. An elongate base is defined by a central surface area which is bounded by a plurality of interconnecting and elevated sides to establish a mold enclosure which is a negative shape of the countertop to be produced. A template is settable upon the elongate base and movable in a selected longitudinal direction so that an opening formed in the template is positioned in overlaying fashion at a desired location along the central area. A first sink bowl pattern is placeable in mating fashion within the opening in the template and upon the central area of the base prior to removal of the template. First applications of selected resinous materials are provided within the mold enclosure and around an exterior circumference of the first sink bowl pattern.

  • Patent number: 5547361
Abstract: Tooling for facing a wall includes a plurality of cavities which are formed by four blades, each of the cavities corresponding to various brick sizes. Six lines of interconnected cavities are attached to a cross beam. Adjacent cavities and lines are spaced from another by a predetermined dimension. Unset settable building material is mixed with appropriate colouring and waterproofing agent and is applied to a wall to form an outer layer. The surface thereof is sponged to produce a brick like surface relief. The tooling is pressed into the outer layer to impress a pattern resembling brickwork. Unset material is sucked from the joint line space between adjacent cavities and the layer is allowed to set. Then, mortar is added to the joint line. Once the mortar has set, the final outer layer has a true brick finish that resembles a real brick wall. The unset settable material can be applied to damaged or wood walls so that a true brick finish can be given to a wall in a quick, simple and cost effective manner.

  • Patent number: 3956437
Abstract: A reusable column mold particularly adapted for use in casting concrete pillars or columns, that mold including a sheet of flat, flexible material which can be rolled into a columnar configuration to erect the mold form and which can be readily stripped from a set-up concrete column cast into the mold form. In preferred form, the flat sheet is of a rectangular configuration and is characterized by a plurality of tongues on one side edge which, when the sheet is rolled into columnar configuration, are adapted to fit into slots in the sheet located on one of a series of slot lines (the slot lines are parallel to the sheet's tongued side edge and are positioned intermediate the sheet's side edges); the cross-sectional area of the mold form is determined by that slot line of the sheet which cooperates with the sheet's tongued edge.

  • Patent number: 3950201
Abstract: To compensate for shifts of the mid-circumferential centerline of an expansible carcass relative to the apparatus for expanding the carcass into an inexpansible breaker-belt positioned coaxially and in annularly spaced relation therearound, a reference plane is provided by three circumferentially spaced points directly connected to and equidistantly from the mid-circumferential line of the carcass. The breaker-belt can then be registered in symmetrically centered relation to the carcass by reference to such reference plane despite shifts of such line relative to the apparatus. The foregoing abstract is not to be taken as limiting the invention of this application, and in order to understand the full nature and extent of the technical disclosure of this application, reference must be made to the accompanying drawing and the following detailed description.
