    Abstract: According to one embodiment a valve arrangement for a gas burner is provided that includes a manual gas valve with a manual actuator for opening or closing the gas flow, and an electromagnetic valve having a movable closure member which allows opening or closing a gas passage to the burner. The electromagnetic valve is arranged in the gas valve, with the manual actuator being coupled to a rotary flow regulating element, the manual actuator being configured in order to move the closure member of the electromagnetic valve, opening the gas passage, the manual gas valve including a reduced gas flow channel which puts the inlet conduit in fluid communication with the regulating element regardless of the position of the closure member.

    Abstract: A gas valve for a cooking appliance is provided and includes a valve housing defining a valve chamber therein. A plug is disposed within the valve chamber. A valve stem interacts with the plug such that rotation of the valve stem correspondingly rotates the plug to selectively permit a flow of gas through the gas valve. The valve stem is axially translatable between a locked position wherein rotation thereof is inhibited and an unlocked position wherein rotation thereof is permitted. A first spring exerts a compressive force against the valve stem, toward the plug, to bias the valve stem into the locked position. A second spring exerts a compressive force against the plug in order to seat the plug within the valve chamber regardless whether the valve stem is in the locked or the unlocked position.

An elastomeric snapping clip is assembled between the reducing circular frame of the valve casing and the flanged tube. A snapping flange is formed from the snapping clip, such that elastic clamping effect is generated when the protruding portion is mated with the snapping flange under the action of the rotary driving pedestal. An elastic locator is set correspondingly to the snapping clip such that the snapping clip can be assembled in a limited state. Minimized components are required to form the ceramic valve core, thus lowering the cost, improving the control and extending service life.

    Abstract: A pipe coupling comprises a socket having a ball valve in which a through bore having one end that allows insertion of a plug is formed and a casing supporting the ball valve for rocking motion. The casing has a slot extending from its flank to the top. The slot has a flank opening and a top opening. The flank opening is wider than the top opening. A lock element is located for movement in the through bore of the ball valve. When the one end of the through bore of the ball valve is aligned with the flank opening, the lock element advances into the flank opening, thereby preventing the ball valve from rocking. When the lock element is pushed into the through bore of the ball valve by the plug, it is disengaged from the flank opening, whereupon the ball valve is allowed to rock.

The tube is configured so that fluid discharged from the lower end of the tube is discharged through an opening in a lower portion of the housing. When the switch is rotated in one direction, the tube is compressed between the stop and the closure member, thereby preventing fluid flow through the tube.
