Patent number: 8505879Abstract: The present invention discloses a rigid tie down in the field of mechanics, which addresses the problems of the existing tie downs, for example, they occupy a large space and have a low binding efficiency. The rigid tie down comprises a body, a first hook and a second hook provided on both ends of the body, and a handle connected to the body. The body has a cylindrical shape. The first hook has a first screw thereon, and the second hook has a second screw thereon. The first screw is threadedly connected with one end of the body, and the second screw is threadedly connected with the other end of the body. The direction of the threads of the first screw is reverse to that of the second screw. The rigid tie down could be operated in a convenient manner, have a high binding efficiency and occupy a small space.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2010Date of Patent: August 13, 2013Assignee: Zhejiang Topsun Logistic Control Co., Ltd.Inventor: Buqin Ruan

Patent number: 7938384Abstract: An extended length strand take up device is presented that may be used to repair damaged guy wires in the field. The invention comprises two connecting bodies connected by a single tension rod that extends continuously between the two connecting bodies. Each connecting body slides over opposite ends of the tension rod and is held in place by a stop member, such as threaded nuts screwed onto the respective ends of the tension rod. The connecting bodies may further include an inwardly-facing pull tab or tabs that can be used for pre-tensioning the guy wire. An alternative embodiment of the invention comprises a single tension rod that is fixedly anchored to the ground and several connecting bodies that are fixedly mounted along the end of the guy wire at standard increments. The tension rod runs parallel to and overlaps the end of the guy wire. The connecting bodies slide along the length of the tension rod until the required tension and length is reached.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2008Date of Patent: May 10, 2011Inventors: James A. Patent number: 7678085Abstract: An injection device for injecting selectable amounts of a substance includes an activating mechanism including an axially moveable operating button which can rotated in a resting position only, a tubular drive element non-rotatably connected to the operating button, an axially fixed and non-rotatable guiding element, and an axially moveable driven member held non-rotatably in the device. A rotational grid is operationally between rotatable and non-rotatable components of the injection device such that the operating button can be moved two rotational directions when in the resting position whereby a selected amount of the substance to be injected can be selectively varied. For example, a dosage inadvertently selected too large by rotating the operating button too far in one direction can, in accordance with the present invention, be reduced by rotating the operating button in the opposite direction.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2005Date of Patent: March 16, 2010Assignee: TecPharma Licensing AGInventor: Roney Graf

Patent number: 7552913Abstract: A load binder mechanism is disclosed that has an improved arrangement for connecting the hook and shaft end portions of the load binder to the elongated axially extending tubular body. The load binder mechanism of the present invention provides an axially extending tubular body having opposed end portions, each end portion being fitted with a sleeve that has both internal and external threads. The load binder mechanism includes first and second attachment members, each providing a shaft with an externally threaded portion. The attachment member shafts have respective right and left-hand thread patterns that engage correspondingly threaded internal bore sections of the sleeves.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2007Date of Patent: June 30, 2009Inventors: Robert S.
