    Abstract: A collapsible tree stand hoist including an elongated pole, a stationary arm secured to the distal end thereof and a movable arm configured to slide back and forth along the length of the elongated pole is provided. Each of the arms include teeth or serrations for grasping and securing the hoist to the trunk of a tree. In a first configuration, the stationary arm and the movable arm are configured to fold up and pivot inwardly, providing a compact hoist device that is easily unfolded and set up on site. In a second configuration, the stationary arm and the movable arm are configured to be removed from the elongated pole, providing a collapsed position that permits the hoist to be easily carried in a compact fashion.
