Abstract: An integrated hoisting system includes a base structural component (BSC) assembled on a structural aperture and containing an opening compatible with a structural aperture. The integrated hoisting system further includes a plurality of primary hoisting components affixed to the BSC, wherein each primary hoisting component is disposed in an opposite diagonal corner on said BSC, and further includes a winch drum and at least one lead sheave and a plurality of load path assemblies, each containing a plurality of sheaves. The system further includes a plurality of hoisting lines, a plurality of termination components affixed to said BSC, each termination component including a monitoring unit and a load cell assembly for terminating the hoisting line, and a device configured to control the operation of the integrated hoisting system.
Abstract: A semiconductor memory is achieved which allows a reduction in the area of a memory array block without reducing the gate widths of floating gates. A plurality of select gates extend in straight lines in the X direction. Between the upper- and lower-side select gates, two rows' worth of floating gates are arranged. The plurality of floating gates are placed in a staggered arrangement (in other words, in a zigzag pattern). That is, looking at one floating gate in a specific column and another floating gate in a column adjacent to that specific column, those floating gates deviate from each other in the Y direction.
Abstract: A MOS transistor with a pair of lightly doped drain (LDD) sub-regions in the substrate and whose gate electrode is self-aligned with a non-doped gate oxide layer overlying the channel region between the two LDD sub-regions.
Abstract: A combination of air balancing hoists is described in which two or more hoists are connected end to end each with a load cable connected at spaced locations on the load item to enable raising a bulky load item. Force transmission rods axially interengage axially moving components of the connected hoists to insure that the cables are raised and lowered together to maintain the attitude of the load item as it is raised or lowered.
Abstract: A tree compressing and binding apparatus has particular usefulness in handling of Christmas trees, employs a hydraulic power system which utilizes the even stroke of one or a plurality of hydraulic cylinders to drive a tree through a loader funnel. The apparatus is capable of being used in harsh weather environments and provides a low cost mechanism for packaging trees either for point of sales use or for large scale harvesting and shipping jobs.
