  • Patent number: 10174956
Abstract: An anti-theft enclosure for protecting an outdoor air conditioning (A/C) unit is made up of an open framework of structural members which surround and protect the A/C unit. Individual steel panels are assembled to form a series of upstanding walls which are covered by a top panels and which together define the quasi-enclosed area surrounding the A/C unit. The tubing which makes up the steel panels is spaced to allow access to the enclosed area by a worker needing to access the A/C unit. The steel panels are joined with connecting and mating elements which facilitate easy and quick disassembling of the enclosure. The upright panels also have adjustable panel legs which can be extended and cemented into the ground for added stability and security.

  • Patent number: 9943175
Abstract: An infant support device for holding an infant. A fabric panel is taut between two or more anchor points. The anchor points may be disposed on a support frame or another structure capable of supporting the fabric panel and a weight of an infant. The fabric panel contains an aperture. A mesh insert is affixed to the fabric panel at the contour of the aperture. The mesh insert has a lower stiffness than the fabric panel. The mesh insert contains a plurality of holes sized to permit air to flow therethrough while preventing an infant's limbs and appendages from entering therein. Responsive to an infant being placed onto the mesh insert, the mesh insert elastically deforms thereby transitioning into a stretched configuration, in which the mesh insert urges the infant's spine into a convex curve.

The frame includes one or more moveable retention members configured to engage the liner in order to form a bounded play yard space. By permitting the liner to be secured to the frame via the retention members, a user is able to easily secure the liner to the frame for use and remove the liner from the frame for washing.

Abstract: An architecture is presented that provides a barrier device for protecting recreational fires from accidental intrusion by small children and animals. The barrier device comprises a plurality of gate panels linearly connected by a plurality of hinge elements. A fastening element is employed to selectively engage the outer two gate panels so that they may be connected together. When in use, the plurality of gate elements rotate about the plurality of hinge elements to form a seven-sided polygon-shaped configuration that is connected together by the fastening element. Typically, a user arranges the fastened barrier device around the fire. The open structure of the gate panels prevents access to the fire by small children or animals while allowing easy viewing and access to the fire by adults.
