Patent number: 12013347Abstract: Super continuum light having a continuous spectrum over at least 1100 to 1300 nm is emitted from a pulsed light source, is pulse-stretched by a stretching element such that a relationship between a wavelength and an elapsed time in one pulse is one to one, and is radiated to a product. The light transmitted through the product is received by a light receiver, and output data is input to the determination unit. A quality determination program of the determination unit calculates an absorption spectrum from the output data, quantifies the absorption spectrum by chemometrics, and compares the absorption spectrum with a reference value to determine quality. The product determined to be a defective product is excluded by an exclusion mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2020Date of Patent: June 18, 2024Assignees: USHIO DENKI KABUSHIKI KAISHA, TOWA PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD.Inventors: Go Yamada, Aya Ota, Koji Nakayama

Patent number: 11993901Abstract: A barrier system includes a handrail, and a connector to couple the handrail to a post extension that extends upward from a floor. The handrail has and end with a width measured in a direction transverse to an elongate length of the handrail. The connector includes a socket to hold the end of the handrail. The socket is defined by an elongate channel that extends in a direction substantially parallel to the post extension when the connector is attached to the post extension. The channel has a length that is greater than the width of the end of the handrail.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2021Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: RITE-HITE HOLDING CORPORATIONInventors: Aaron J. Patent number: 11518644Abstract: A timing specifying device includes count processing circuitry to count an input reference clock; and timing control circuitry configured to set a parameter having an integer part and a fractional part in the count processing circuitry. The count processing circuitry counts the reference clock, outputs a timing signal indicating that a time corresponding to an integer value has passed, and counts a value corresponding to the fractional part at a timing at which the timing signal is output. The integer value is a value indicated by the integer part. The count processing circuitry stops counting of the reference clock when a value obtained by counting the value corresponding to the fractional part carries over from a fraction.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2021Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yosuke Fujii

Patent number: 9903401Abstract: A connector includes at least two cavities or receptacles extending from a base to receive adjacent tubes of a wall or panel. The receptacles are closed at one end. At least two walls extend from the base in the same direction as the receptacles. The walls are positioned on the base and outside the receptacles such that the panels are secured to a specific angular orientation with respect to each other. A top connector and a bottom connector are used to secure rods or tubes of adjacent panels. A series of top and bottom connectors can be used to secure multiple panels to form an enclosure, such as a kennel or gazebo.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2017Date of Patent: February 27, 2018Assignee: ADVANTEK MARKETING, INC.Inventor: Joseph Pomerantz

Patent number: 7055806Abstract: A rail barricade includes a bottom rail and a U-shaped body frame having a top rail and a pair of vertical rails. A plurality of vertical spokes are located between the vertical rails. The bottom rail further includes an opposing pair of curved ends each having a projection that is received in a notch in one of the vertical rails. The connection is then welded. A foot is pivotally attached to each of the vertical rails. Hooks are attached to one of the vertical rails for attachment of a second rail barricade.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2003Date of Patent: June 6, 2006Assignee: Stageright CorporationInventors: John S. Patent number: 6782624Abstract: A method of deploying a system for controlling access and egress. In a preferred embodiment, the user's requirements are considered in providing a properly scaled barrier for such varied uses as security, safety, order, privacy, and discipline. In one embodiment, pre-manufactured panels and connectors are delivered to a site that has been properly prepared for installation of the system. Local materials may be used for the panels in some cases. The panels and connectors may be assembled quickly by unskilled labor and, in some embodiments, the barrier just as quickly dismantled or repaired as necessary. One method of the present invention provides for deploying a temporary or emergency solution to access control. Another method deploys a system that may be used in a residential setting, providing storage in some installations. Accessories for enhancing effectiveness may be installed on or within barriers deployed using a method of the present invention.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2002Date of Patent: August 31, 2004Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the ArmyInventors: Charles P.
