Abstract: An approach is provided for performing cloud based computer network security services. Security policies are established for each of a number of subscribers. The subscribers are provided access to the security services via a common network cloud managed by the service provider. The security services are administered according to a multi-tenancy format, which enables the subscribers' data communications to be separately processed. The security services include network firewalling and filtering of content originating from or destined to one or more networks associated with the subscribers.
Abstract: A computer system, comprising at least one controlled execution space hosting an operating system and an application program; a vulnerability monitoring agent coupled to the controlled execution space; one or more vulnerability profiles coupled to the vulnerability monitoring agent, wherein each of the vulnerability profiles comprises an application program identifier, an operating system identifier, a vulnerability specification describing a vulnerability of an application program that the application program identifier indicates when executed with an operating system that the operating system identifier indicates, and a remedial action which when executed will remediate the vulnerability; wherein the vulnerability monitoring agent is configured to monitor execution of the operating system and the application program in the controlled execution space, to detect an anomaly associated with the vulnerability, to determine the remedial action for the operating system and application program based on one of the v

Abstract: A dyeing washing and/or milling machine particularly useful for dyeing woollen components including an annular working fluid reservoir and rotating paddle members which pass into and out of the reservoir to circulate the fluid therein. The apparatus may further include a heating system and a fluid pump and duct system, to heat and increase the circulation of fluid within the reservoir.
Abstract: Apparatus for treating fabric by beating while the fabric is in the spread or flattened state, particularly for use in a process and system for washing the fabric. The apparatus has a large number of beating bars arranged in groups each of which being adapted to effect a beating, in cooperation with beating anvils, on the fabric which is carried and fed by an endless rubber base running on the beating anvils. The driving mechanisms for the feed of the fabric and for the beating are operatively connected such that the feed and the beatings are made alternately. For washing the cloth, the cloth is immersed in the solution of a detergent, and is then beaten by the first group of beating bars. Subsequently, the fabric is beaten by the second group of beating bars under application of washing with hot water or water. The apparatus of the invention can treat thin fabrics such as gauze, and can ensure a high soft feel or touch of the finished fabric, due to the application of the beating.
