Abstract: A social networking aggregator computer program that filters user updates from several sources and merges them with geo-tagging data to provide real-time “weather maps” of symptoms and ailments, which can then be used to forecast where and when illnesses spread. Data sources include, but are not limited to popular social media “user broadcasting” platforms, social network sites and smartphone applications.

Abstract: An approach is provided for performing cloud based computer network security services. Security policies are established for each of a number of subscribers. The subscribers are provided access to the security services via a common network cloud managed by the service provider. The security services are administered according to a multi-tenancy format, which enables the subscribers' data communications to be separately processed. The security services include network firewalling and filtering of content originating from or destined to one or more networks associated with the subscribers.

Abstract: A system and method detects malware on client devices based on partially distributed malware definitions from a central server. A server stores malware definitions for known malware. The server generates one or more filters based on the malware definitions and distributes the filter(s) to client devices. The server also distributes full definitions to the clients for a subset of the most commonly detected malware. The client device scans files for malware by first applying the filter to a file. If the filter outputs a positive detection, the client scans the file using the full definition to determine if the file comprises malware. If the full definition is not stored locally by the client, the client queries the server for the definition and then continues the scanning process.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product provides on-access anti-virus scanning of data files, which can be performed without introducing significant performance degradation and provides delayed file write operation scanning upon interception of a file write operation. A method of detecting a malware comprises the steps of intercepting a file access operation of the a process to a file, in response to the intercepting, waiting a time interval between the intercepting and scanning the file for a malware, and scanning the file for the malware, after waiting the time interval, wherein the process is associated with an application program and wherein the file access operation is a file write operation.

Abstract: A technique is disclosed for tracking a virus. The technique comprises copying information from a first packet; passing through a second packet; saving the copied information; determining whether an infection has been received, wherein the infection is associated with a network transmission, and wherein the network transmission is also associated with the first packet; and retrieving the saved information.

Abstract: In a fulling machine an introductory channel is provided between the paired resser and dragger rollers and the conventional pusher for the fulling plate, and a supplementary pusher unit is provided in the introductory channel having safety means to prevent overloads, the reciprocation of the supplementary pusher unit being properly synchronized with the reciprocation of the conventional pusher.

Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for interrupting the rotary movement of a drive roller for feeding a textile web and comprises a pivoted lever having a frame at one end with an opening through which passes the web driven by the roller. Positioned beneath the opening in the frame is a ring nozzle supplied with liquid under pressure to advance the web passing through the opening in the frame through a guide tube associated with the nozzle. A magnetic switch is provided in circuit with the drive means for the roller to effect stoppage of the rotation of the roller when the switch is actuated, a linkage being connected between the lever and the switch to actuate the latter when the lever is pivoted.
