Abstract: A method of forming a container includes providing a mold including at least one bulbous protrusion. The mold is closed to form a mold cavity corresponding to the shape of the container, with the bulbous protrusion being positioned in the mold cavity. Material is injected into the mold cavity to form the container, and the material envelopes the bulbous protrusion to create an undercut slot. The container is removed from the mold and the bulbous protrusion is withdrawn from the slot.

Abstract: A mold process for creating a collapsible cargo carrying enclosure including a plurality of panels, each exhibiting a specified two-dimensional shape and thickness and which are interconnected along adjoining edges. Each of the panels exhibits a structural substrate and upon positioning within a mold cavity, is over molded with a plasticized material. The structural substrate typically includes a network of elongated and interconnecting bamboo, steel or aluminum members, the plasticized material further including a powder impression material filling said mold within which an aggregate is entrained including at least one of glass, pebbles/rocks, ceramics, steel rerods and wood. Upon curing and removing the panels from each associated mold cavity, the panels are interconnected together and collapsible in a stacked manner to provide the advantages of lightweight and ease of shipment.

Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a beverage dispensing head, a first section is molded to include an exit channel and a first portion of a valve bore. A second section is molded to include an entry channel, a passage through the second section, and a second portion of the valve bore. A third section is molded to include a passage through the third section and a third portion of the valve bore. The first section is mated with the second section and the second section is mated with the third section to form a handle including a passageway therethrough. The mating of the first section with the second section and the second section with the third section aligns the first portion with the second portion and the second portion with the third portion to form the valve bore for the passageway. In addition, the entry channel is sealed to form a fluid entry aperture and a fluid entry conduit for the passageway. Further, the exit channel is sealed to form a portion of a fluid exit conduit for the passageway.

Abstract: It is an object to manufacture a composite of a metal part and a resin composition part, which is improved so as to securely join and integrate stainless steel and a resin. A stainless steel part whose surface has been suitably roughened by chemical etching or the like can be used. An integrated product is obtained by inserting a stainless steel piece 1 with its surface treated into a cavity formed by a movable-side mold plate 2 and a fixed-side mold plate 3 of a metallic mold for injection molding 10 and injecting a specific resin. PBT, PPS or an aromatic polyamide resin can be used as the main resin component of a resin composition 4 that is used. High injection joining strength is obtained if the resin composition contains, as an auxiliary component, PET and/or a polyolefin resin in the case of PBT, a polyolefin resin in the case of PPS and an aliphatic polyamide resin in the case of an aromatic polyamide resin.

Abstract: The present invention provides a fender liner and a method for producing the same that allows reduction of noise caused by collision with pebbles etc. kicked by tires, that has sufficient rigidity, and that allows easier separation of attached ice. The fender liner comprises a low density nonwoven fabric layer, disposed on a side of the outside surface when it is attached to the outside surface, and a high density nonwoven fabric layer, the density of which is 0.6 to 0.9 g/cm3, in a thickness direction. The method comprises: obtaining a compound nonwoven fabric by intertwining and integrating a first and a second nonwoven fabric having predetermined amounts of mass per unit area and thicknesses respectively by a needle punching method; obtaining a nonwoven fabric laminated product for liners by heating the fabric from a side of the first nonwoven fabric layer with simultaneous pressurization; and die forming the product.

Abstract: The invention relates to a procedure for the production of insulating building units from plastic and/or rubber waste containing metal, in the course of which procedure the plastic and/or rubber waste containing metal is ground, the ground material is mixed with binding and filling materials, then it is placed in a shaping mould, and a building unit is produced under pressure. The characteristic feature of the invention is that steel radial tyres used as rubber waste containing metal is used, before grinding the used tyres are cut up into pieces of a maximum size of 10-30 cm, and they are ground only after being cut up previously, and after grinding the ground material containing metal is taken through separating equipment, where the assorted grains of a maximum size of 5-20 mm containing metal are separated from the rest of the ground material, and only the part of the ground material of the given grain size separated in this way is mixed with binding and filling materials.
