Abstract: The invention relates to a system for transforming plastics material preforms into plastics material containers having a plurality of blow molding stations which are arranged on a carrier and in each case comprise a blow mold for expanding plastics material preforms into plastics material containers inside this blow mold by means of a pressurized pneumatic medium which is supplied to the respective blow molding station via a pressure supply device and which is at least partially extracted again from the respective blow molding station after the expansion operation via a pressure extraction device.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus as well as to a method for expanding preforms into containers within a blow mold by means of a pressurized pneumatic medium, wherein a compressor piston unit for compressing the pneumatic medium is in flow communication with the blow mold, in order to introduce a volume flow of the pneumatic medium into an inner region of the blow mold, and wherein an actuator unit that can be activated by a hydraulic medium interacts with at least one element of the compressor piston unit, in order to drive the compressor piston unit during an expansion process of the container for compressing the pneumatic medium, and in order to be driven itself, during a relaxation process that temporally follows the expansion process, due to the returning volume flow of the pneumatic medium into the compressor piston unit.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of gas blow forming packaging in a mould using a preform and comprising recovery of the blow gas. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in: —) pre-blowing the gas into the preform at a first pressure (P1); —) blowing the gas into the pre-blown packaging at a second pressure (P2) which is greater than the first pressure (P1); —) blowing the gas into the partially-blown packaging at a third pressure (P3) which is greater than the second pressure (P2); —) recovering the gas in a recovery volume until a pre-determined pressure is obtained in the packaging or for a pre-determined period of time; —) using the recovered gas in order to preform pre-blowing operations and the first blowing step; and expanding the air that is free of residual gas in the packaging during and after the recovery phase. The invention also relates to a device that is used to implement said method.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a molded article comprises injecting a quantity of molding material sufficient for the preparation of the molded article into a cavity of a mold, injecting a first portion of fluid into the mold cavity, creating a gas channel within the molding material, and forming the molded article within the mold cavity. At least a portion of the first portion of fluid is exhausted through a gas port, a second portion of fluid is injected into the mold material, and the molded article is cooled within the mold cavity to a temperature beneath a softening point of the molding material.
