  • Publication number: 20140048964
Abstract: A floating cut-off bar coupled to a feed drawer whereby a mechanism allows the floating cut-off bar to engage the specified contour of side rails and a division plate in a mold box assembly and aid in material distribution by screeding excess material and delivering additional material to areas of the mold box as necessary and method of making wall blocks therefrom. The specified contour of the side rails and optionally division plate is designed to optimally deliver material to achieve a specified uniform density of the block produced for greater structural integrity, strength and durability of the block.

  • Publication number: 20140042656
Abstract: The invention relates to a compact leftover concrete recycling device for mobile use on a concrete transportation vehicle and/or concrete delivery vehicle, comprising a recycling chamber with a baffle plate, an inlet opening for leftover concrete and an outlet opening for recycled leftover concrete as well as two, three or more high-pressure nozzles, wherein the baffle plate, the inlet opening and the outlet opening are designed and arranged such that leftover concrete filled into the recycling chamber through the inlet opening impacts a reception section of the baffle plate, passes a recycling section of the baffle plate and then leaves the recycling chamber through the outlet opening, and wherein the high-pressure nozzles are arranged and designed such that water jets delivered from the high-pressure nozzles impact the recycling section of the baffle plate.

  • Publication number: 20080099122
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cementitious composite includes: (1) forming mixing an extrudable cementitious composition by first forming a fibrous mixture comprising fibers, water and a rheology modifying agent and then adding hydraulic cement; (2) extruding the extrudable cementitious composition into a green extrudate, wherein the green extrudate is characterized by being form-stable and retaining substantially a predefined cross-sectional shape; (3) removing a portion of the water by evaporation to reduce density and increase porosity; and (4) causing or allowing the hydraulic cement to hydrate to form the cementitious composite. Such a process yields a cementitious composite that is suitable for use as a wood substitute. The wood-like building products can be sawed, nailed and screwed like ordinary wood.

  • Patent number: 6805819
Abstract: A cylindrical concrete receiver 10 is caused to project from a top section 3 of a body section 11 forming a frame 2. When concrete 5 is filled in the body section 11, part of the concrete 5 is caused to overflow inside the concrete receiver 10 and then, pressure is applied to the concrete 5 overflowed in the concrete receiver 10 by a weight 12.

  • Patent number: 6361725
Abstract: A process for making an artificial mineral or ceramic panels that can be used in gas fireplaces. The process uses a screen mold having simulated pattern elements to impart a realistic exterior surface to the article. A slurry of mineral fibers is injected under pressure into the mold forcing excess water therethrough leaving the fibers impinged within the mold. The article thus formed is dried in an oven and can be processed for additional decorative coatings.
