    Abstract: In an aligning device, in plan view, a first recess of a first transfer jig allows an entire region of a second recess of the first transfer jig to be situated within the first recess of the first transfer jig by a predetermined interval. A first recess of a second transfer jig allows an entire region of a second recess of the second transfer jig to be situated within the first recess of the second transfer jig by a predetermined interval. When the first transfer jig and the second transfer jig overlap each other, the first recess of the second transfer jig allows the entire region of the second recess of the first transfer jig to be situated within the first recess of the second transfer jig by a predetermined interval. With the alignment object being transferred into a cavity of the first transfer jig, by causing the first transfer jig and the second transfer jig to overlap each other, the alignment object is transferred from the cavity of the first transfer jig to a cavity of the second transfer jig.

A received cassette (2) is slid down the inclined receiving surface (13) until the cassette (2) engages the stop (15) and so that the marking surface (3) substantially faces the platen (10) and a recess behind the marking surface (3) is aligned with the clamp (18). A plunger (19) of the clamp (18) is lowered towards the platen (10) and into the recess so that the marking surface (3) is pinned against the platen (10). The marking surface (3) can then be marked by marking means via the platen aperture. The plunger (19) is then moved away from the platen (10) and the cassette (2) is removed.

The semi-rigid film is then aligned by contacting a first side edge of the semi-rigid film with a major surface of a first alignment tool and contacting a second side edge of the semi-rigid film with a major surface of a second alignment tool such that the film is aligned relative to the edge of the substrate. After alignment, pressure is applied to at least a portion of the surface area of the first side of the semi-rigid film to effectuate adhesive bonding of the film to the major surface of the substrate.

The cove mold and wall sheet unit is secured to the desired architectural wall with the other cove molding rabbet channel mated to an SSM wall sheet edge respective to an adjacent architectural wall. Clamping blocks secured to respective wall sheet and cove mold surfaces by hot melt adhesive are drawn together along the correct vector to adhesively bond each wall sheet edge into a respective rabbet channel.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for glueing, assembly and clamping of large wood panels. Comprised of an open rack frame containing a quantity of clamping and assembly jigs, such that two separate and independent wood panels can be at various stages of completion. Each clamping and assembly jig consists of a spacer bar upon which the raw wood stock is placed and a clamping bar which provides pressure perpendicular to the surface of the panel. To use the present invention, wood stock of appropriate dimensions is coated with glue and placed within one or more of the clamping and assembly jigs. Conventional bar clamps are then used to provide pressure on a horizontal axis through the wood panel. Finally, the clamping bar is tightened to aid in alignment of the wood stock and eliminate bowing of the stock.
