Abstract: A recording/playback apparatus includes a light-generating and intensity-modulating section for generating signal light and reference light to be shined on a hologram recording medium and a phase modulating section for performing phase modulation on the signal light and the reference light on the basis of a pixel unit by using the first to nth phase modulation levels. For the phase modulation on the reference light, all pixels corresponding to the reference light are divided and set using random phase units, each having a predetermined pixel array pattern having at least two pixels, the number of pixels corresponding to each of the first to nth phase modulation levels in each random phase unit is common to the random phase units, and the array pattern of the pixels corresponding to the first to nth phase modulation levels is random for each random phase unit.
Abstract: A device used to facilitate the making of the connection system of an optical fiber comprises: an upright that supports the gripping of the joining piece associated with holding the connectors in an immobile state with respect to the joining piece during the front polymerization of the connection system; this upright also supporting a fastening system used to hold the connector in an immobile state during the rear polymerization of the connection system and an adjuster capable of causing the pivoting and translation of the joining piece so that it surrounds the solder point located in the rear of the connector, held in an immobile state by the fastening system, to achieve the rear polymerization of the connection system. The device is very useful especially in the field of telecommunications by optical fibers.

Abstract: A fixturing pallet is removably registered on the table of a programmable routing machine and provides a platform to which tooling is registered and repositionably attached. The tooling is used according to registration, supporting, and routing requirements of each multi-board panel and its individual boards; and it serves to support and establish and maintain registration of each panel and/or board on the pallet during: (i) transporting of the multi-board panels from a load/unload station to the routing station, (ii) depaneling at the routing station, and (iii) transporting of liberated boards and scrap back to the load/unload station.
