The system includes a tray having at least one simulation cavity which replicates the dimensions of an actual article of jewelry. The method includes selecting various decorative elements and arranging them within the at least one cavity to sample various arrangements, then placing the decorative elements in the article of jewelry.
Abstract: The invention relates to product, method and system for materials handling apparatus and more particularly to an integrated design of a vessel for combining sterilization, storage, transport and presentation of dental or surgical instruments or implants using a uniquely designed sterilization base-tray. The simplicity of design and resulting fabrication of a base-tray as a single closed cavity component together with a limited additional number of parts forming the sterilization tray eliminates bacteria colonization as well as lowering manufacturing costs.
Abstract: A cutting board for food preparation is equipped with a blower which can be mounted on the board in various positions to keep airborne irritants from the cut food away from the breathing zone of the preparer. A novel food guide and knife guard combination may be mounted on a grid of locations on the upper surface of the cutting board. The grid points have holes drilled through the board which provide a means for mounting the food guide and the knife guard as well as a means for draining juices from the cutting surface. A removable juice collection tray is mounted below the cutting board.
Abstract: A marking device making a marking using laser beam, includes a supporting assembly, a marking mechanism, a carrying assembly, a driving assembly, and a plurality of loading members. The loading members carry workpieces for marking. The marking mechanism emits a laser beam to mark the workpiece. The carrying assembly includes a transmitting member slidably mounted on the supporting assembly, and a bearing member mounted on the supporting assembly opposite to the marking mechanism. The driving assembly is mounted on the supporting assembly. The loading members are placed on the transmitting member and the bearing member. The driving assembly is capable of driving the transmitting member to align with the bearing member in a straight line, and then driving the loading member on the transmitting member to move to the bearing member.
Abstract: A cutting board with scrap bin includes a generally planar cutting surface that can rest on a countertop to enable cutting. One portion of the cutting board is adapted to attach to a scrap bin, with the scrap bin being selectively attachable or detachable as desired. In some versions the scrap bin is also collapsible, making it smaller for storage.
Abstract: A frame (1) for receiving and holding a removable board (2) for use in the manufacture of edible products such as bread and the like. The frame (1) comprises a plurality of side walls (100, 101, 102, 103) and reinforcing cross-members (104, 105, 106) so that a board (2) which is adapted to be retained within the frame (1) is protected from damage and wear during transportation along mechanized conveyors in the bread making process. The board (2) is provided with a lip which extends around its perimeter and projects laterally beyond the side walls of the frame to enable removal of the board from the frame. The board (2) further comprises a textured upper surface which helps to prevent dough from sticking and facilitates the eventual removal of the dough from the board.
Abstract: A device for transporting components for transportation systems between workstations comprises a transport apparatus and a positioning frame. The positioning frame is maintained on the apparatus and has a positioning element capable of aligning the position frame in the workstation. In one example, at least one positioning element arranged on the positioning frame allows alignment of components forming a section of an aircraft that is situated on at least one positioning frame in relation to workstations. During this process, connecting members are inserted into receptacle members arranged in the region of the floor area. The members may be at least partially form-fitted fashion.

Abstract: An object handling system for and a method of handling objects from object carriers supporting objects, the handling system comprising: a support platform; at least one carrier holder disposed to the support platform and being configured to receive an object carrier supporting objects; at least one analysis station at which objects are analyzed; an object handler comprising a positioning mechanism operable to provide for positioning in a region above the support platform, and a tool assembly attached to the positioning mechanism and being movable thereby, wherein the tool assembly comprises a sensor tool which, in a carrier-sensing mode, is utilized in identifying any object carrier as supported by the at least one carrier holder, and a holding tool which, in an object-transfer mode, is utilized to hold an object at least in transferring the same between the at least one carrier holder and the at least one analysis station; and a control unit for controlling operation of the handling system.

Abstract: A cutting board combination for use with a double basin sink having a sink divider separating the two basins. The cutting board combination includes a first cutting board that has a flat upper cutting surface and a pair of spaced apart legs fixed to the bottom surface. The legs are spaced apart to straddle the sink divider with the cutting board base supported on it with lateral edges overlapping the sink basins on either side. The cutting board combination includes a second cutting board that can be connected at an inner lateral edge to a lateral edge of the first cutting board. The second cutting board is connected to the first in such a fashion that the work surfaces of the two are coplanar. The inner lateral edge of the second cutting board is supported by the first cutting board. The second cutting board has a length sufficient so that it spans the sink basin with the outer lateral edge supported on the sink rim.
Abstract: A process for producing beams of square cross-section from tree boles or the like is characterized in that plano-convex slabs are severed in parallel to the hart zone of the boles. An apparatus for performing the process is characterized in that the boles (2) are supported by height-adjustable supports (9, 10) in such a way that the heart zone (8) is congruent with the preferably horizontal feeding direction of the bole (2). Thereby, the thus-produced square beam (7) is defined by planes parallel to the heart zone.

Abstract: A wallpaper preparation board made of low cost rigid sheet material such as cardboard, paperboard, thin wooden, metal, or plastic sheets, etc., is formed from a plurality of substantially flat panels of the sheet material which are hingedly attached end-to-end to form an elongate board which can be folded in accordion style into a compact unit. A pair of hooks 11 and 12 are provided at the top of the board, with the hooks being adapted to engage the top of a door or the edge of the top landing of a ladder, so that the board can hang downwardly from the door or the top of the ladder. A pair of ears project upwardly at opposite sides of the upper end of the board to receive the opposite ends of a rod which is inserted through a roll of wallpaper. A knife edge extends across the board near the roll of wallpaper to aid in cutting lengths of wallpaper which are withdrawn from the roll.
Abstract: A laterally elongated plate is provided with anchors in a transversely elongated tape support area of the plate by which to secure the opposite ends of a length of pressure sensitive adhesive tape extended across the tape support area, with the adhesive side of the tape facing upward. A stitch indicator line is provided on the plate inwardly of and parallel to the tape support area to indicate an ultimate stitching line, and loop size guide lines also are provided on the plate spaced inwardly from and parallel to the stitch indicator line to orient cloth loop material according to the size of loops desired to be formed. Laterally spaced markings are provided on the plate adjacent the tape support area to aid in spacing loop units desired distances apart.
Abstract: A support assembly including elongated upper and lower parallel plates. A plurality of column supports separate and interconnect the parallel plates. A clamping assembly is supported by the plates, the clamping assembly having vertical and horizontal pressure screw assemblies. A vertical pressure screw assembly is mounted upon the upper plate adjacent each end thereof, and a horizontal pressure screw assembly is mounted upon the lower plate at each end thereof. Both vertical and horizontal pressure screw assemblies project into the space between the upper and lower plates. An annular flexible platform is attached to the lower plate adjacent each end thereof, beneath each vertical pressure screw assembly, and projects into the space between the plates. Lenses, which are to be fixed together by adhesive means to form a combination lens, are received upon a flexible platform, aligned by action of a horizontal pressure screw assembly, and pressed together by action of a vertical pressure screw assembly.
