Abstract: Tools having provisions associated with a wrench and a vise are described. The tools can include lateral support members extending from the handle that increase stability during use as a vise. The support members can be removed and/or placed in a non-use position when the tool is used as a wrench. The tool can also include support plates that provide a clearance space between a workpiece and a movable jaw of the tool. Various other features of the tools are described.

Abstract: A system of tools and connector assemblies can be erected in numerous arrangements and configurations, in positive, selected interrelationships, for the mounting and support of a workpiece or the like. Engagement portions on the tools are clamped by the clamping blocks comprising a connector assembly; the tools may be C-clamps, bar-clamps, pipe-clamps, coupling devices, brackets, standoffs, and like implements.
Abstract: In order to increase the utility of an arm clamp having a guide rail, on which a fixed transverse arm is seated, having a sliding arm which is displaceable on the guide rail and which can be tilted with the latter, and having a pressure application spindle with a pressure piece, which pressure application spindle is displaceably arranged on the sliding arm so that a compressive force can be exerted on a workpiece between transverse arm and sliding arm, a box-like attachment member is provided for the sliding arm, which provides a substantially flat abutment surface for a workpiece, and is so constructed that it can be pushed on the pressure piece of the sliding arm so that the attachment member is held on the sliding arm and a compressive force can be exerted by the attachment member on a workpiece via the pressure application spindle, and wherein the attachment member comprises at least two mutually spaced guide recesses via which it is displaceably mounted on the guide rail.

Abstract: The Vendable Armaflex consists of a combination of Armaflex with spring in different diameters and allows to maintain the diameter and thickness necessary of the Armaflex according to the application.
Abstract: A clamp assembly has a separate and independent clamp stand base, such that several clamp stand bases may be mounted on desired surfaces at various locations, and the clamp may be moved from one clamp stand base to another for quick and easy mounting at the different locations, and to minimize the number of clamps required to service of all of these different locations. The assembly permits the position of the clamp to be adjusted relative to the stand by pivoting and by raising and lowering the clamp relative to the base.
Abstract: A portable workbench, comprises a molded plastic base structure and a molded plastic upper work structure. Wheels and a transport handle are mounted on the base structure. The transport handle is constructed and arranged to be manually engaged to move the base structure between a) a storage operative position wherein the base structure is stabily supported on a horizontal surface and b) a storage transport position wherein the wheels rollingly contact the horizontal surface so that the base structure can be moved along the horizontal surface using the handle. The upper work structure is constructed and arranged to be supported on an upper portion of the base structure in a storage operative position. The upper work structure and the base structure cooperate when in the storage operative positions thereof to define a storage space.
Abstract: A clamping apparatus for use in tying fishing flies is disclosed that includes a vise with parallel first and second extended portions with aligned holes, and a trigger pin disposed through holes that has a circular and flat first end adjacent to the first extended portion and a threaded second end adjacent to the second extended portion with a knob screwed on the end. The clamping apparatus also includes a trigger with a circular portion that has pinhole offset from a center of the circular portion. The pinhole is aligned with a pinhole in the circular portion of the trigger pin, and a pin is disposed through the pinholes. The vise is attached to an arm that is attached to a base. Two legs extend from the base to support the clamping apparatus. Foot joints are located at the ends of the legs and are connected to a flexible member that stabilizes the clamping apparatus. A neck cord is also provided so that the vise may be used in the field at a stream or lake.
Abstract: A bar clamp having a fixed jaw and a movable jaw which is radially movable over both short and long distances to clamp against a workpiece and is operable using one hand with complete control by the operator at all times. The jaws may either face one another while being mounted on the same side of a handle/grip assembly or face in opposite directions while being mounted on opposite sides of the handle/grip assembly whereby they may be incrementally advanced by the trigger handle/driving lever. The movable jaw may also be a clamp jaw affixed to a handle assembly which moves toward a substrate.

Abstract: A hand tool for use with spring-hinge type spectacles to facilitate removal and replacement of temple screws pivotally connecting apertured hinge ear portions of companion hinge parts mounted on the lens frame and the forwardmost ends of the temple members, including a pistol shaped tool body member having a slide channel portion and a forwardly extending rigid support arm, an elongated post pivotally mounted on the support arm, a lens frame holding subassembly adjustably supported on the post including a lens-engaging pad and a lens restraining arm in spaced overlying relation to lens-engaging surface portions of the pad, and a temple holding subassembly comprising a pair of confronting temple gripper pads spaced to define an upwardly opening temple-receiving recess therebetween. A pad adjusting mechanism is provided for moving the gripper pads toward and away from each other to grip and release a temple member located therebetween.
Abstract: An adjustable off-set spring loaded clamp is provided for assisting in welding, and other operations, and a stand is also provided which supports the clamp in any desired position and orientation. The clamp and stand both include coarse and fine adjustments whereby the jaws of the clamp can be set precisely to any desired initial separation, and whereby the clamp may be adjusted precisely to any desired orientation and held in the desired orientation, so as to enable the clamp to accomplish a wide range of holding functions.
Abstract: A clamping or gripping device comprises a handle by which the device can be held in one hand to position it relatively to the work, a carrier mounted or mountable on the handle, or on a part on the handle, a first jaw carried by the handle, and a second jaw pivotally mounted on the carrier. The carrier is movable along the handle, or along a part on the handle, to move the second jaw bodily towards and away from the first jaw; and there is pivotally mounted on the carrier a lever so arranged that, when the device is being held by the handle in one hand to position it relatively to the work, the lever is movable by the same hand, as that which is holding the handle, in a direction towards the handle to cause leverage to be exerted on the second jaw to cause clamping or gripping pressure to be applied, against the work, in the direction of the first jaw.
