Abstract: Clamping device for a machine duplicating keys, with a body lodging two jaws apt to transversely tighten a key, wherein the two jaws can be approached and/or spaced by the activation of only one operation component, and a bridge is arranged apt to tighten the key against the body through a movement (Y) orthogonal to the reciprocal motion (X) of the jaws; these jaws are provided with respective inclined planes with a symmetrical inclination, and the bridge is provided with two inclined planes each having the same inclination of a respective of the inclined planes of the two jaws. Elastic components are arranged which are capable of pushing the bridge against the two jaws along a direction (Y) orthogonal to the direction (Y) of reciprocal tightening of the two jaws, and the bridge is provided in its outer portion with a relief capable of tightening the key against the body.
