Abstract: A casket lid includes a lid body and a bridge formed from a folded corrugated paper blank. The lid body extends partially over a casket body configured to receive a human body in supine position, the lid body having a first side configured to extend along a portion of a first casket body side, a second side configured to extend along a portion of a second casket body side, a first end configured to extend along a first casket body end, and an open end. Edges of at least two of the first side, second side, and first end define a lid body bottom plane. The bridge extends downward from the lid body near or at the open end, and defines a concave opening extending above the lid body bottom plane.

Abstract: The invention provides a trailer with no extra height when folding, comprising fixed standpipes arranged at a front and rear end of the trailer, and front and rear folding components, side folding components, bottom folding components and handle components connected to the fixed standpipes. The height of the trailer in the invention does not change after folding to ensure that the height after folding and the height in use are the same, thereby the object that the volume after folding is smaller than that of the prior trailer. By proving telescopic components on the handle components, the trailer can be telescopically folded by handle components when not in use, which reduces space occupation and is practical and convenient; simultaneously, by providing reset torsion spring on the handle components, the object of automatically resetting of the handle when the trailer not in use can be achieved.

Abstract: A transport container includes a frame structure, a housing, and an extendable and retractable platform that is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. Spaced apart shelves are disposed at opposite sides of the housing and are adjustable between a lowered position, where the support surfaces are at or near a level of the platform, and a raised position, where the support surfaces are raised above the platform. Articles are placed on the extended platform and then the platform is retracted so that the first articles are disposed partially over the support surfaces of the shelves. The shelves are raised to the raised position to raise the plurality of first articles above the platform, whereby the platform is extended to have a plurality of second articles placed thereon and retracted so that the second articles are disposed on the platform below the shelves and the first articles.

Abstract: A jack stand apparatus has a frame having a first portion and an outwardly extending second portion, a barrel affixed to the outwardly extending portion so as to have a generally vertical longitudinal axis, a jack screw threadedly received by the barrel, and a plurality of caster wheels removably affixed to the frame. The barrel has an outer end extending outwardly for a first distance from the first portion of the frame. The plurality of caster wheels support the frame for a second distance from a level of the bottom of the caster wheels. The first distance is no more than the second distance. A support head is affixed to an end of the jack screw opposite the barrel. The frame is invertible relative to the caster wheels such that in one position the barrel extends upwardly from the frame and a second position in which the barrel extends downwardly from the frame.

Abstract: Disclosed is a retractable handle system for a casket. A casket having retractable handles includes a casket box with a casket lid openably coupled to it. A base is coupled to the casket box. The base includes a panel having a length and a width similar to the length and width of the casket box. Spacers are coupled to the panel to form channels. Arms are slidably located in the channels. At least four bars are coupled to the arms. The bars may have forty-five degree angled ends which allow the bars to abut each other when they are in a closed position causing them to no longer appear as handles on the casket box. Sliding the arms causes the bars to move from the closed to open position.

Abstract: A reusable metal casket is configured to receive a tray supporting the deceased. The casket includes a base, having a head end, a first side, a second side, and a foot end, and a lid. The lid is rotatably coupled to the first side or the second side. The foot end is rotatable relative to a bottom of the casket to enable insertion and removal of the tray. The head end and the foot end include curved corners. Accordingly, the interfaces between the head end and the foot end and the first side and the second side are formed separately from the curved corners.

Abstract: A casket carrying device that is designed to allow for much easier transporting of the coffin from a funeral to a graveside service allowing it to be maneuvered more easily, even up and down flights of stairs as necessary. The handle members may be about five inches wide. The handles may have two top slightly curved portions measuring about two inches across. The handy handle features a pivot rod about 18 inches in length and 1-1½ inches in diameter that allows for the handle to be used on either side of the casket. The handle may fold when not used (when not in extension) to become parallel with the casket. The handles when properly used put less strain on the casket bearers since they provide functionally accessible handles.

Abstract: A reusable casket includes a metal casket box having an opening at one end and includes a panel section rotatably attached to the casket box which is closeable to enclose the opening and openable to allow longitudinal movement of a casket insert into and out of the casket box through the opening. The panel section is retained to each side panel in the closed position by a locking bolt extending through the panel section to engage an interface operatively connected to the side panel. A transverse member may be attached to the opposing side panels of the box to partially define the opening. An end panel of the casket box may include the panel section intermediate first and second lateral sections where each lateral section is fixedly attached to a respective one of the opposing side panels and the panel section is movable relative to the lateral sections.

Said trolley frame includes side brackets and a bottom support bracket; said side bracket comprises two cross connecting rods hinged at the central point; said bottom support bracket includes bottom support rods and a central hinged seat. the side bracket is a multi-stage connecting rod structure, including at least two pairs of corresponding hinged connecting rods; the ends of the connecting rods are hinged to form pocket support ends; said storage pocket is provide with downward openings; a pulling member corresponding to the location of said central hinged seat and used for folding the trolley body is provided at the interior bottom of said storage pocket. The trolley can realize convenient fold of the whole body, increase edge strength of the storage pocket, and ease using operation for different users, and has stable structure and larger loading capacity.

Abstract: A burial capsule usable with an inert gas for replacing air in the burial capsule, the burial capsule comprising a sealable shell defining a chamber therein and a shell outer surface, the shell defining a shell inlet and a shell outlet both extending therethrough between the shell outer surface and the chamber for respectively receiving the inert gas and releasing the air contained in the chamber to allow replacement of the air by the inert gas when the inert gas flows in the chamber through the shell inlet. The burial capsule also includes a first valve handle anchor mountable to the shell and a first handle mountable the first valve handle anchor. The first valve handle anchor acts as a valve to selectively alternatively allow and prevent flow of the inert gas in the chamber through the shell inlet.

Abstract: A cremated remains remembrance and burial system that includes an urn, an urn lid, an urn enclosure and a headstone. The urn includes an enclosure with an opening, a first sealing mechanism and second sealing mechanism. The urn lid is capable of engaging the first sealing mechanism to substantially seal the enclosure. The urn enclosure has a recess formed therein that is adapted to receive the urn. The urn enclosure is adapted to engage the second sealing mechanism to retain the urn in engagement with the urn enclosure. The headstone has an opening formed therein that is adapted to receive at least a portion of the urn. The headstone is adapted to engage the second sealing mechanism to retain the urn in engagement with the headstone.

Abstract: A carrier is provided for facilitating the carrying and transportation of a funerary container having a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces and a top surface, along with a length and width and interior large enough to accommodate an un-cremated corpse. The carrier includes a base member having a length generally long enough to span the width of the funerary container and a upper surface sized and configured for receiving the bottom surface of the funerary container. An upstanding member has a lower end coupled to the base member and an upper end. The upstanding member extends in a plane generally perpendicular to the base member. A handle member is provided that is coupled to the upstanding member. The handle includes a hand receiving surface engageable by the hand of the user.

Abstract: A device and system for assisting in the loading of a cremation container with a bottom surface into a crematory chamber with a floor. The device and system include a cylindrical body, with the body having a longitudinal axis and an external surface extending a length between a first end and a second end. The device and system further include an adhesive applied to the external surface, at one or more points along the length of the cylindrical body. The adhesive temporarily attaches the cylindrical body to the bottom surface of the cremation container.

Abstract: A carrier is provided for facilitating the carrying and transportation of a funerary container having a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces and a top surface, along with a length and width and interior large enough to accommodate an un-cremated corpse. The carrier includes a base member having a length generally long enough to span the width of the funerary container and a upper surface sized and configured for receiving the bottom surface of the funerary container. An upstanding member has a lower end coupled to the base member and an upper end. The upstanding member extends in a plane generally perpendicular to the base member. A handle member is provided that is coupled to the upstanding member. The handle includes a hand receiving surface engageable by the hand of the user.

In the preferred embodiment the elongated handles are located between a plane of the exterior bottom and a plane of the interior floor.

A notch engaging member is located on the lower end of each frame member to engage and be received in notches defined in the edges of opposed vertical surfaces of the urn vault. A casket liner impregnated or covered with a natural material is adapted to be placed inside a casket.

Abstract: A display for displaying casket portions comprises a back wall, at least one wing wall, a shelf, a casket corner section having two cut sides at substantially a right angle to one another and having a bottom, a side panel attached to one of the cut sides of the casket corner section, a bottom panel attached to the bottom of the casket corner section, and at least one dowel pin on the back wall. The casket corner section is supported on the shelf, the side panel is positioned between the wing wall and the dowel pin, and the other cut side faces the back wall. Abstract: A pivoting casket carrier incoludes a pivoting bed having a predefined length and width. The bed includes a plurality of rollers disposed substantially transverse to the length of the bed for facilitating removal and placement of a casket on the bed. A pivoting mechanism is operatively connected to the bed to allow a predetermined degree of rotation of the bed about a central axis of the pivoting mechanism. A locking system is operatively coupled to the pivoting mechanism to enable operation of the pivoting mechanism to allow rotation of the bed when the locking system is in a first disengaged position, and disable operation of the pivoting mechanism to prevent rotation of the bed when the locking system is in a second engaged position.

Abstract: A handle hardware assembly for attaching a handle to the sidewall of a casket. The hardware assembly comprises a lifting arm and clevis each having a pair of pivot arms or flanges. Each clevis pivot flange has a protrusion which is engageable with three radially spaced depressions of a corresponding lifting arm pivot arm. The selected depression the protrusion is engaged in determines the fixed position of the handle relative to sidewall of the casket. Also, a bolt is insertable from inside the casket such that the sharp end of the bolt is between the clevis pivot flanges to avoid injury to a funeral director or others.

Abstract: A reusable casket includes a rectangular solid-configured body preferably having a casket top hingedly connected to a casket rear for pivotal movement between a casket-open position and a casket-closed position, a casket front pivotally connected to a casket bottom between a casket-closed position and a casket-open position, a latch for retaining the casket front in the casket-closed position and a lock for securing the casket top to the casket front. The reusable casket also has a tray for supporting a disposable cremateable container for human remains and track assemblies connected to the casket bottom for rotatably supporting the tray during tray movement along the casket bottom.

Abstract: A casket assembly includes a container and a two-piece lid. The two-piece lid includes a superior lid that covers the anterior end of the casket and an inferior lid that covers the opposite end. The container includes a bottom panel, an inferior end panel, a superior end panel, and two elongated side panels. Each elongated side portion has a recessed portion on the superior end of the casket for providing an improved viewing of the deceased. In one embodiment, the casket panels each include a plurality of mortise holes and/or tenons. The tenons on individual panels are designed to fit into the mortise holes on other panels. Pins are placed through pinholes on the tenons to retain the tenons in the mortise holes. A shelf and bracket assembly may be provided for use in displaying mementos of the deceased and/or for supporting the inferior casket lid.

A vertical signage column may be positioned in the alcove. Information modules are also displayed in the alcove. The modules correspond to the casket portions. The casket portions are supported on shelves which are removably secured to the back wall. The information modules are similarly removably secured to the back wall. The display may incorporate “themes” to feature the various casket choices. The theme technique may also be utilized in the funeral home viewing room.

Abstract: The vehicle shaped caskets and urns are stylized funeral containers that are configured to reflect the particular features of specific automobiles. The funeral containers include a body portion, a lid portion and a mounting base member. The body portion reflects the features of the lower chassis that are particular to specific automobiles, including headlights, bumpers, fenders and doors. The lid portion reflects the features that are particular to top portion of specific vehicles, including a windshield, a trunk, and windows. The caskets include authentic nameplates and hood ornaments to enhance their authenticity.

Abstract: A combination of a casket and reattachably removable hardware for lifting the casket, including an aperture formed through a casket sidewall, a generally circular plate defined between a first radius and a second radius, an elongated lifting member having a first end, an internally threaded cavity formed in the first end, and an externally threaded connecting member. The plate is positioned adjacent the aperture and when the externally threaded connecting member extends through the aperture, the first end of said elongated lifting member rotatably removably engages the connecting member to detachably connect the elongated lifting member to the casket.

A body supporting and transporting tray is removably positioned atop the support structure and comprises a bottom, a pair of opposed sides and a pair of opposed ends. Each end includes a pair of elongated horizontal slots therein serving as handholds for grasping and lifting the tray. The support structure comprises a rectangular, planar platform having opposed front and rear edges and opposed end edges. Legs are connected to the platform and extend downwardly to support the platform above a floor surface. A back is connected to the rear edge of the platform along a lower edge of the back, the back projecting upwardly from the platform. A side is connected to each end edge of the platform and to a respective side edge of the back, with each side projecting upwardly from the platform. The support structure is convertible into a memorial table by substituting a table top structure for the tray.

The vacuum heads (34) are supported by upper and lower linkage assemblies (52,53) which may be actuated to move the vacuum heads (34) and crypt front (86) out of the wall (87). The supporting assemblies (11) may also be pivoted to tilt the supported crypt fronts (86) for lowering or raising by the elevating or raising device (12).

Abstract: A double depth crypt vault having two casket compartments, and which permits the placement of two caskets in the same crypt. A center dividing shelf separates the lower casket compartment from the upper casket compartment. The upper crypt compartment has a cover portion designated the vault lid which is configured to mate with and be sealed to the upper edge of the crypt vault. The double depth crypt vault can be formed and integrally molded as a unit out of a heavy-duty plastic material. Optionally, the double depth crypt vault may have tapered walls for added strength and stability for shipping purposes. Ground augers may be employed with the double depth crypt vault to prevent upward floatation.
