Separate Stackers Patents (Class 270/58.34)
  • Patent number: 9835674
Abstract: A method for identifying one or more simultaneously occurring partial discharge sources from partial discharge measurement signals of an electrical device to which an AC voltage is applied includes determining area parameters of at least one enclosed area of partial discharge pulse matrix arrays. For each enclosed area of partial discharge pulse matrix arrays, area parameters of the enclosed area of partial discharge pulse matrix arrays are compared to predetermined rule sets. Predetermined fault rules are applied which allocate characteristic partial discharge pulse area basic forms and characteristic combinations of partial discharge pulse area basic forms to known partial discharge sources, to the ascertained partial discharge pulse area basic forms in order to determine those partial discharge sources which have rendered the corresponding partial discharge pulses.

  • Patent number: 8964199
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main conveyance path 13, a main discharge roller 17, and a main stacking tray 19. The sorting discharge unit 20 includes a subsidiary conveyance path 22, a change-over mechanism 23, a subsidiary discharge roller 24 and a subsidiary stacking tray 26. The subsidiary discharge roller 24 is provided on the most downstream side of the subsidiary conveyance path 22. The subsidiary stacking tray 26 is arranged above the main stacking tray 19 and the transfer sheet P discharged from the subsidiary discharge roller 24 is stacked in the subsidiary stacking tray 26. A stacking concave portion 29 which expands a stackable area of the subsidiary stacking tray 26 is formed below the subsidiary discharge roller 24.

  • Patent number: 8393608
Abstract: A substrate finishing system includes a sheet input that feeds sheets to a compiler for compiling. The sheets may be stapled at the compiler. A trail edge support of the compiler is movable from a first position to a second position. The compiler is configured to drop a sheet or set of sheets to build compiled set stacks at the first and second positions on a stacking tray positioned beneath the compiler.

  • Patent number: 8369986
Abstract: A paper sheet handling apparatus 1 includes: a casing which includes a first face and a second face opposed to the first face; a receiving unit 211 which receives paper sheets; a recognition unit 212 which performs at least one of a counting process and a recognition process with respect to the paper sheets; at least two stacking units 31-34 which stack the paper sheets after processing in the recognition unit 212; a transport unit 4 for transporting the paper sheets among the receiving unit 211, the recognition unit 212 and the stacking units 31-34; and a controller which controls each of the units, thereby having each of the paper sheets selectively stacked in the stacking units 31-34. Each of the stacking units 31-34 has at least two paper sheet removal openings 3L, 3R which are open in the first face and the second face. The paper sheets in the stacking units 31-34 are allowed to be removed through the paper sheet removal openings 3L, 3R, from the first face side and the second face side of the casing.

  • Patent number: 7665720
Abstract: A paper sheet processing apparatus includes a plurality of bundling devices, and a plurality of chute devices which temporarily hold bundles, which are bundled by the bundling devices. A second transfer conveyor, which is slower than a first transfer conveyor, is disposed on a downstream side of the first conveyor. A transmission sensor, which detects abnormality in length of the bundle, is provide along the second conveyor. The distance from a release position of the bundle from the chute device, which is located on a most downstream side, to a terminal end of the first conveyor and the length of the second conveyor are set such that a time until the bundle, which is released from the most downstream chute device, is transferred onto the second conveyor is longer than at least a time until the bundle, which is transferred from the first conveyor, passes through the second conveyor.

  • Patent number: 6500293
Abstract: The invention includes methods and products which use contact adhesives to secure separate sheets of multiple ply documents to form finished documents, such as integrated letters and envelopes, billing statements, invoices, etc. Sheet material for production of completed documents having plural plies is disclosed, the production of which includes the steps of providing a continuous web of material having sequential parts therealong, the sequential parts including a first part having a first and a second surface and a second part adjacent to the first part having a third and a fourth surface. Contact adhesive is applied to at least the first and second parts in patterns which preclude adhesive contact and bonding of adjacent facing surfaces of the first and second parts when the web is interfolded and the first and second parts are in registry but which permit adhesive contact and bonding of the first and second parts when separated and sequentially stacked.

  • Publication number: 20020008346
Abstract: The present invention relates to a turning apparatus and to an insert for a turning apparatus for at least two individual stacks (5 - 7) of individual sheets. The turning apparatus according to the invention, or the insert, is characterized by at least three stack-holding plates (1 - 4) to hold at least two individual stacks (5 - 7) separately between the stack-holding plates (1 - 4), in each case in stack-holding areas (19, 20) of the stack-holding plates (1 - 4), and by spacers (8) which are provided between adjacent stack-holding plates (1 - 4) and are arranged outside the stack-holding areas (19, 20).
