The sheet pressing apparatus of the present invention includes a pressing roller including a pressing surface configured to press a fold line part of a folding processed sheet conveyed from a carry-in port in a thickness direction of the sheet and a guide portion configured to guide the folding processed sheet so that the fold line part is positioned at the pressing surface, a nipping member configured to nip the fold line part between the pressing surface and the nipping member, a first moving unit configured to move the pressing roller to a nipping position at which the fold line part is nipped between the nipping member and the pressing surface of the pressing roller and a retracting position.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for making booklet type labels having at least one printed inner sheet includes apparatus for printing and assembling three webs which includes the provision of folding stations to enable a single web to be immediately and continuously folded after printing to produce one more inner label portions making up the booklet sheets. The press includes vertically stacked web support drums with associated printing stations wherein one of the drums is reversible to enable the simultaneous printing of two webs by the stack assembly including the printing of one web on both sides.

    Abstract: A survival kit comprising, inter alia, a replacement cap for a conventional canteen, a gasket, and a collapsible tube. The cap includes a crown and an annular depending skirt; a passage is defined clear-through the crown and the skirt is internally screw threaded so that the cap can be secured to the threaded neck of a canteen. The gasket is a flat annular washer with a central aperture. The collapsible tube is formed of several telescoping sections and one end of the tube is threaded.When the survival kit is utilized to obtain potable water from salt water, contaminated water, vegetable matter, etc., the cap of the canteen is removed, and the collapsible tube is removed from the interior of the canteen. The gasket is positioned atop the neck of the canteen, and the replacement cap is secured thereover after partially filling the canteen. The collapsible tube is extended, and the threaded end thereof is secured within the aperture in the replacement cap.
