Abstract: A media transport assembly includes a loadstop drive assembly to gather and compress a media stack in a media tray before a pick and feed cycle, and a pick drive assembly to pick a sheet of media from the media stack and feed the sheet of media to a media path. The loadstop drive assembly is positioned on one side of a gear wall and the pick drive assembly is positioned on an opposite side of the gear wall such that the pick drive assembly is driven by the loadstop drive assembly through the gear wall.
Abstract: A stacking apparatus includes: a cassette which accommodates a plurality of recording media in a superimposed manner; a mounting portion on which the cassette is mounted; a transportation path which is arranged at a downstream side in a direction in which the cassette is mounted on the mounting portion and on which the recording media are transported from the cassette mounted on the mounting portion; a stopper of which surface for regulating downstream side edges of the recording media regulates the side edges until the cassette is mounted on the mounting portion and of which surface for regulating the side edges of the recording media releases the regulation of the side edges with a rotational operation after the cassette is mounted on the mounting portion; and a slider which slides along a back surface of the regulating surface of the stopper for regulating the side edges.
Abstract: Apparatus for supplying and transferring blanks, in particular revenue stamps, to (cigarette) packs (11), a supply of blanks (10) being stored in at least one upright magazine shaft, namely supply shaft (21) or transfer shaft (50), from which the blanks (10) are removed individually on the underside. In order to increase the capacity, a loading station (17) with a supply unit (20) for blanks (10) is arranged at a distance from a transfer station (19) assigned to the packs (11), to be precise in a disruption-free, easily reachable region of the packaging machine.
