Abstract: A bearing assembly, including a housing with a first circumferentially disposed groove; a bearing including an outer race with a second circumferentially disposed groove; and a retaining ring disposed within the first and second circumferentially disposed grooves. A method of retaining a bearing, including: locating a first portion of a ring within a groove in an outer race; installing a housing radially about the race to contact the race; locating a second portion of the ring within a groove in the housing; bringing temperature of the housing and the race to a first level; fixing, with contact between the race and the housing, the race with respect to the housing; increasing the temperature of the housing and race to a second higher level; creating a radial gap between the housing and the outer race; and fixing, with the retaining ring, a position of the race with respect to the housing.

Abstract: A soldered bar stock has a handle blank with a first through hole, and has a head blank having a soldered portion protruding into and soldered in the first through hole. The soldered bar stock is machined to form a soldered machining tool. With the first through hole formed in the handle blank, the head blank can be firmly soldered to the handle blank. When replacing the head blank with a new one, solder in the first through hole can be completely cleaned. Moreover, when using the soldered machining tool, a cooling liquid can be injected into the first through hole to cool down the soldered machining tool.

Abstract: A handheld tool structure includes a tool member, a handle, a cover and a connecting peg. The handle is barrel-shaped and has an opening at an end of the handle. An end of the tool member is slab-shaped and the tool member has at least one penetrating hole and at least one notch. An end of the connecting peg has a slender groove, and the top of the cover has a slender slot. An end of the tool member is passed through the slot of the cover and inserted into the groove of the connecting peg, and the cover and the connecting peg are connected, and another end of the connecting peg is plugged into the handle from an opening at an end of the handle, and the cover is plugged into the handle until the top of the cover is aligned evenly with a distal surface of the handle.
