Abstract: What is shown and described is a clamping device (1) with hub centering for attachment of an automobile wheel to the shaft of a balancing machine, with a contact flange (2) with several centering elements (3) guided in a radially moveable manner on the contact flange (2) for centering engagement in a centering hole of the rim, and with a clamping sleeve (4) guided in a moveable manner axially to the contact flange (2), wherein the clamping sleeve (4) and the centering elements (3) are kinematically coupled such that an axial movement of the clamping sleeve (4) leads to a radial movement of the centering elements (3). According to the invention, a provision is made that at least one tension lever (16) connected in an articulated manner to the clamping sleeve (4) and a centering element (3) is provided for the kinematic coupling of clamping sleeve (4) and centering element (3).
Abstract: A method and apparatus for manufacturing composite parts. An expandable tool with a transfer system may be moved on a surface of the expandable tool into an outer mold line tool with a composite material laid up on the outer mold line tool. The expandable tool may be expanded in the outer mold line tool to change the surface from a retracted state to an expanded state. The transfer system may be transferred from the expandable tool with the surface in the expanded state to the outer mold line tool.

Abstract: The apparatus comprises a chuck member to be mounted within the operating area of the machine tool and a work piece carrier that can be put onto the chuck member and clamped thereto. First positioning members provided on the chuck member and second positioning members provided on the work piece carrier cooperate to define the position of the work piece carrier along three coordinate axes each running perpendicular to each other as well as with regard to the angular orientation. A clamping mechanism fixes the work piece carrier member to the chuck member in the afore mentioned defined position. In order to ensure an increased resistance against tilting momenta and torque occurring during the machining of a work piece, the first positioning members are constituted by conical centering pins and the second positioning members are constituted by recesses in the shape of a two-stage groove having two shoulders.
